trading of bitcoin and altcoin is more better in sense of high earning but it is a risky if a person is expert in altcoins and know better about the developers and their activity then he will predict that which coin is going to survive for longer.

At present, I am doing a research on the most profitable trading method and I am wondering: Is it better to do btc/fiat trading or btc/altcoin trading?

Which method yields the highest profit?

For me it's trading altcoin is much profitable coz many altcoin increase the price morethan double and if you wise enough  and choose a good coin you can have a huge profit in altcoin trading.

Really depends on what you know. Which cryptocurrency market are you most familiar with? Back then, I was obsessed with Dogecoins, and I knew the market really well and how much each dogecoin was selling for how much BTC and that's where I started my trading career.

that's must be very complicated to manage your multiple accounts in multiple exchanger,each exchanger bear different prices which make small margin if it's compared exchanger to exchanger,and sometimes when price just falling suddenly you maybe will be confused which account's balance you will going to sell first

Just a warning. Do not pick those altcoins with robots. I dont really know why some of the trading websites are letting this happen. You will see that altcoin keeps on blinking because of a robot buyer. Be careful with those. I am a victim for so many times when I was still an idiot.

In  my own  opinion   these  both   pairs would   be  good   if  you intend to trade  with it.  BTC/USD   would be good  for  long  terms and also  in short term as  long you  have the  money  to invest  on  , you could still make   money  with it  even  on  percentage basis.  BTC?ALTCOINS  are good  for huge  profits  but   the risk  involve  is   still there  because as we all know  there are some altcoins  are  such waste.

I am little sure that the price will reach around 850$ and then start going below in short term probably before making further up surge.

Well trading  on  bitcoin  would be  a  profitable  one  because   as we can see  price of bitcoin as  of now   is  too volatile. You can  do always  short trades   as  of the  moment  as  long you could able to  handle  these  trades  you would surely  get  profits. Actually, in every aspects of any exchange platform it has always a risk. Meaning both of them are profitable and those two have a higher a risk. And in every trading there is risk and all trading are also profitable this will depend on the trader only.

yes i also agree with you, i think that it also depend of the money you have, if you have a little amount of money then you should do trading in bitcoin/ alt. and there you can make good profit even investing a small amount of bitcoins.

Successful trading requires lots of discipline. So many people want the quick money, but overnight success is often years in the making. To win against the market, you must first win against your own weaker self. Just because you have some money to invest and bored with TV, you should not put that money into the next best coin. Sometimes not trading is the most profitable strategy. Sometimes you should wait for the right moment to enter your trade a little longer. Sometimes you just need to hold longer to meet your target price.

hmm, sounds confused huh? anyway, for me, try to trade bts to altcoin. its a bit risky man but surely you'll be rewarded in return. just take some others suggestions like buy on a cheap price and sell it on a great price. and remember to monitor the market so you wont be able to lose the battle. lastly, invest what you can afford to lose.

It is actually harder to predict trading altcoins and bitcoins than btc/usd. Especially on new coins because some of them are just scam coins. It is really profitable if get a good new coins but if get a bad coin, then you will end up zero if you did not exit at a right time.

Sticking to one trading method can be fatal even if that method has been working for you for a long time, shopping around and testing different methods can come in handy. Also the trends of different coins require different trading methods for one to maximize profit.

I knew Zcash was going to crash right from the start, it's only useful for day trading, not for long term.

ZCASH is just like all other shit coins that get launched. It's just the hype aspect that makes people believe into something that is nothing more than an empty project.

Another thing, "day trading" ZCASH can be quite profitable due to its heavy price swings, but if you think that you can day trade it, then you're wrong.

It will be gambling because every buy order is just making you hope that the price will go up to a level where you make profit. Gambling is also nothing more than hope. Hoping that you'll get lucky.

I am sorry I'm unable to understand how our trading might be different from others, you mean to say we must follow different strategies so that we will be unique to make profits.
I do not think so, because we need to take decisions what other people are also making so that we can be sailing in the same direction to book profits.

i would said yes and agree with you to trading btc/altcoin because the chance for us to make profit is huge and we can buy altcoin with cheap price and sell it when the price is increase. but for limit budget, i would not suggest to trading btc/fiat because you can not get profit as much  as if you have big budget so you should stay with trading btc/altcoin.
