At present, I am doing a research on the most profitable trading method and I am wondering: Is it better to do btc/fiat trading or btc/altcoin trading?

Which method yields the highest profit?

Trading nowadays is treally profitable you can earn when you are good in strategies but in trading you need more time so that you will know what alt coin is rising or pumping by traders and then you can sell or buy that alt coin sometimes i join in group to know what coins there are going to buy.

I would prefer bitcoin/altcoin. Best way to have an instant money in trading is buy new altcoin and sell when it is pumping. Patience and being aware is all you need as for you to get a successful trading.

People are actually doing betting in the name of trading. They do call it as their way of trading method. But in my view they are going wrong when choosing their altcoins. They want big profits that is the reason they prefer trading new altcoins which are usually known for high fluctuations in beginning times.

I hate trading new altcoins, I always want to stick within reputed altcoins even I make less profits comparatively still I do not get trapped with insider's dumps.

in my experience since i don't have much of bitcoin, i will prefer to trading btc/altcoin with small price of coins because that coins can get pump and increase too high. and for btc/fiat, i don't want to try because i can not follow the price and its make me confusing to watch the fast movement of the price.

in my experience since i don't have much of bitcoin, i will prefer to trading btc/altcoin with small price of coins because that coins can get pump and increase too high. and for btc/fiat, i don't want to try because i can not follow the price and its make me confusing to watch the fast movement of the price.

i am like this too but in my experience it is a lot better to trade bitcoin and it actually becomes easier to "predict" bitcoin than it is to predict an altcoin price for example.

that is why i have also started with altcoin trading and i did it with a small amount but i have moved to big boys market which is bitcoin now

Well, you only need to buy a coin that is down dramatically, but not past the 50%, because it could potentially harm you. You also need to check the number of coins you buy, and you have to sell the coins that you have when the price has risen, because the price could be going down in quick time

you can not just set certain drop price percentage as your indicator ,
it is constantly changed , you will never find a pattern on it ,
the best advice are to get your own method by do a lot of research.

Well i think it takes a lot of time if you do a lot of research well we are not all the same methods to make a good profit in trading but i can share what i doing in 8 different altcoin with same strategy and it will work even are newbie..
Just a sample like other people who are sharing this method and now i am doing and it gives me idea and good way to have passive income..
And also it needs to stay your some of your bitcoin in trading site..
Sample:
Legend: b1= 1st buy as name b2=2nd buy
            s1=1st sell s2= 2nd sell

Now we are relaying in the present price and bitcoin is our trial or sample
According to preev the price is 749.4

So my set is b1= 740 b2=720
and s1=760 s2=780

Reason why i set my sell in to different price it is because if the price goes to 760 i make a profit and sell it and if the price will continues i can make a profit in 780 if not we are going to decrease and s1 or s2 to buy bitcoins again and if the price will increase make sure to set every 10% or 5% increase and decrease defends in you how much you are also holding your bitcoins,,
This is just my tip but it you can expand this method and add more strategy to make it perfect and make it as your passive income..

People are actually doing betting in the name of trading. They do call it as their way of trading method. But in my view they are going wrong when choosing their altcoins. They want big profits that is the reason they prefer trading new altcoins which are usually known for high fluctuations in beginning times.

I hate trading new altcoins, I always want to stick within reputed altcoins even I make less profits comparatively still I do not get trapped with insider's dumps.   

The risk is very high in anything that is new besides all the new altcoins are very unstable, so if we want less risk we must accept lees but more predictable profits.

I will advise you to trade bitcoin and usd as you are sure of trend market daily. Most of the altcoin coin, hardly move and there volume minimal. Another reason is market tools analysis and information, most altcoin has very little information online and because of miners scammer traders don't trade them.

All you mentioned are profitable deoends on how you are going to deal with it those you mentioned are always trend on market where people keep do buy and selling, But for me also invest to those icos sometimes you will get bigger than whay yo've expected it always grow the volume of this coin once it is on the market

Fiat opportunities are mainstream now (think stock indexes or business ventures) whereas the detail inside cryptocurrency offer two options currently... Buy coin to resell at places like Local Bitcoin or buy and hold alternative coins with adopted use or booming infrastructure to even all ends.

Cryptocurrency is starting to boom enough to the point where exclusive services to it's economy are opening that lead to excessive gains compared to in mainstream or the traditional stock economy.

Actually in order to make profit in altcoin trading, you have to swim against the current trend - buy when everyone is selling and sell when everyone is buying.

Maybe trading against trend means entering at the end of the trend but in opposite call.
If it so, the challenge of finding out the over-bought zone or over-sold zone will remain same. So, typically there will not be any significant advantage by this method in my view too as we still need same strong technical analysis.

A newbie trading against the current trend should have studied (and recorded) the 24hr high and 24hr low prices of his coin for at least three days.
For day traders, it will give you an idea of the expected price range, and you will be able to roughly predict what the next price will be - especially if you dealing with an old coin. New coins are nerve-wrecking roller-coaster rides, I've learnt to keep off from them.
From your short study, you can buy low and sell 'high' within that price range.

If you are not investing large amounts, altcoins trading is a good way to gain experience in the market. But for more serious investments, Bitcoin/Fiat currency trading is probably a better option, because it is a market with higher trading volumes and a lower level of instability compared to altcoins.

I haven't tried trading yet but how do you do it? Do you just exchange fiat for btc and let it set there or do you cash out some btc when the exchange rate is high?

I think best method which give us big chance to get high profit is trading BTC/altcoin, becouse I see the fulctuation is really significant. Some of new altcoin price that get in exchange was rise until 250% from the begining, although the price could be fall again. But we can use it grow our bitcoin. We have to know when the panic selling signal come. I think so many new altcoin appear then die becouse this reason, but I am not sure about it.

Personally I'm having better experience with bitcoin trading against fiats. At same time I was able to make some profits with altcoin trading too but for consistent purpose I do not want to continue it. Because, in my experience trading altcoins is very much similar to gambling.

Yeaaa true i agree, if you hold a large amount to trade you will act carefully.
And the choice will be to trade a pair bitcoin to fiat, as some altcoin turn to shitcoin sometimes.
But altcoin trading frequently gives you the highest profit, just not sure if you can make it long term
