I have also this kind of problem. They know how to use the internet but their only interest is social medias like facebook and twitter. They only like and follow what is trending this days. They don't use the internet to expand their knowledge. I explained bitcoin to them and they just laugh at me about it. They said it is fake. They will see in the future what they said fake.

Just simply tell them that you know bitcoin and that is an online currency which are being used by many people, investors and traders.
Words will not work even with your family members. If you show them physical bitcoins or some videos on basics of bitcoins, that may attract them to ask doubts about it. Asking doubts is the first symptom for they are listening showing interests.

And just simply show them how to purchase with bitcoin and buy a lot of stuffs. For sure they are going to get encourage as you will show proofs that bitcoin is legit and being used for different transactions.
Yes, practically showing them how convenient/secured bitcoin payment is, will make them interested. When you are showing your returns in bitcoin investments, they will start adopting bitcoins for sure.

Bring it up casually. Ask them if they've heard about it before, if they have, see if they want to talk about it. Give some material to talk about, like some event. If they want to talk about it, then talk about it with them. If they don't want to talk about it, then let it be. Not point forcing the issue and pissing anyone off.

Thats the big problem mate when trying to help them they always wanted to have it in an easy ways they tend to think that its just a easy to earn but after showing them what they needed to do they always find reasons and show less interest.

Its all about preferences, some people tend to use internet just for social media purpose, for news, etc and some others tend to use it as a way to earn money. Of course for those who do not interested to earn money from internet, then they will never care about it because it is not their main aim.
No matter how hard you tell this kind of person about bitcoin, I'm sure that they will not care about it. Unless you tell it to people who are intersted in making money online.

When the first time I told about bitcoin to my mother by doing a recharge to her cell phone using bitcoin, she was impressed and then I told her the whole story (I doubt she understood it or not but she was impressed with it) she was amazed to see that recharging her cell phone without using a local or foreign currency was new to her and I got almost same responses from most of the friends. I think we should demonstrate first rather than giving a theory loaded lecture, it works.

I just tell them that I'm working online and the currency that I am earning is named bitcoins. My parents think that bitcoin is an online game and they think I'm just playing in the computer. But it doesn't matter, at least they don't bother me anymore when I'm in front of the computer since they know that I'm being productive.

My friends need some money right now and they're starting to read bitcoin articles since I told them that one way to earn money while they're at home is by doing bitcoins.

Sounds interesting topic,
I think that it would be the best to tell them that it is the new form of digital money that will allow them to make lot of profit and lot of money in the future by many different ways and thats why  they should invest some fiat into it to get a sweet fruit later.

If you  know  their  interest   you wound  not  have  a  hard time  on explaining  to  them regarding  on  bitcoins  , if they are  knowledgeable too much  on  net thing and   tech savvy for sure they  would easily cope it  up  but  for those  family  members and  friends  dont have  any  idea on   internet  things  for sure   its hard  to tell them about bitcoin.

I think that some people just don't want to hear about bitcoin.
They are satisfight with the way they handle money right now and do not want to make things any more difficult for them than really necessary.
If you have such a person in front of you, I think then it's a waste of time to tell him about crypto because it will only bore him.
Better use the conversation then for something both sides are interested in and save the convincing work for somebody where you recognize at least a little basic interest in crypto.

If they have a problem to understand it, then you are the one who has to fix the way how you tell them. You should tell them with easy words so that they can understand what are you talking about easier rather than using unusual words for them. And don't get too far from the introduction if it's the first time you're talking about it with them, because they would get bored if you're talking more and more about it. They would probably still hearing you, but after a while they will just forget what were you saying to them.

Not only family members, many people can't understand what is bitcoin, why is it great and what privilegies it has. I told some people that investing is bitcoin is much better than in USD, I explained them everything and they can't understand, they don't trust bitcoin and they think that bitcoin is something fake but this is far from reality. When you have bitcoin that is great for income profit from trading, than I can't understand why to try USD.

The best bit of advice that I can give you given my personal experience is simply to not talk about bitcoin to anyone, it's just as simple as that. Keep it to yourself, keep working hard to make a portfolio with as many bitcoins as possible, and sooner or later the mainstream will catch on. Maybe it will take 10 years, then so be it.

Talking about cutting edge technology with people that isn't interested in it is a waste of time, they will never get it.

It's not really a problem as long you explained to them precisely on what is bitcoin and its uses, if they would got interested then explain further more. It really depends on the approach you would make at first.

Its not hard at all, if you really have some proofs because people mostly believe what they see, you should show them your bitcoin balances by telling them that it is a money that can be earned, invested or used for buying things even, and tell them every basic information you have about it and see their reaction then.

It's not hard as you think in starting a conversation about bitcoin it always depend on you will explain it. First, It's better in my opinion if you tell them that bitcoin is similar to fiat or the currency that you have in your country and second explain bitcoin in front of the pc so you can easily show them the examples of what are you saying and because of that, it will be easy for them to understand your explanation Grin.

My parents are simply not interested in knowing or using bitcoins as they are not internet savvy and prefer to stay away from it and they even don't prefer to use credit cards for online shopping as they have fear that it can hack their details so its very hard to convince them for bitcoins but its not too difficult to explain it to friends.
