Request

Christopher P. Thompson, author of the Trump Coin book would like to ask the community for title suggestions.
Maybe some of you can suggest some titles?

I'm quite fond of the current title actually  Smiley

Agreed, new title is great.
The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

I agree, it is what it is. Maybe some kind of tag line?

The title has already been decided and announced by Tyke a few posts up.

The title is TrumpCoin - Making Crypto Great Again

Let's make Crypto GREAT Again!

With such title, I think adding a tagline might be too much. I mean "Making Crypto Great Again" already looks like a tagline, doesn't it?

This makes me wonder, is trumpcoin presently making crypto great again? or is it just now a SuperPAC coin contributing to making America great again, in the sense of supporting a "free" presidential candidate? "Presently" as in before Teth token release. "Free" as in free from lobbyists. I think the book, above all things, should emphasize the fact that Trumpcoin is the first SuperPAC coin behind a very strong candidate -- what it is currently doing being more important than what it plans to do in the future.

You might be overthinking this a bit. I believe all of what you stated can be summarized on either the back cover or in the Foreword, Preface, Introduction, etc.

The chosen title is simple, catchy and plays along with D.J. Trump's campaign theme, which is recognizable world-wide. Just my opinion Wink

Alright I've already sent off a message one of the developers about this, but I figure you guys might want to hear about it too so I'll give you all a briefing.

This pull request, whenever it gets merged, includes a Travis CI script that builds TrumpCoin-qt and packs it into a 64-bit AppImage for GNU/Linux. AppImage is a rather novel way of creating near-universal executable for running the TrumpCoin client. Whether you're on Debian or Fedora, all you have to do with an AppImage is make it executable and run it, no fuss with package management or compilation necessary.

Just a reminder team. We are 100 days out from the election and you can expect all forces against our man Trump will start coming out of the woodwork. We need to start bringing our 'A' game and get the word out about Trumpcoin any way we can, to whomever we encounter. Although the Trumpcoin SuperPac might seem like small potatoes to some, every little bit can help.

So, what's the future for this coin? Hoping Trump gets elected, or supports it, or what's the plan?

Doesn't "TrumpCoin - Making Crypto Great Again" falsely imply that crypto became not great at some point? When did that happen?

Perhaps change it to something that references TrumpCoin's unique innovation as a SuperPAC coin?

Also, are we officially settling with TrumpCoin, or Trumpcoin? I see people using both, seems to be about 50/50 or 60/40.

FACT: There were hundreds of thousands of unnecessary deaths by December 2020 due to the censorship of all effective treatments (most notably ivermectin) in order to obtain EUA for experimental GT spike protein injections despite spike bioweaponization patents going back about a decade, and the manufacturers have 100% legal immunity despite long criminal histories.

As Dep said, it looks like TrumpCoin is the official name. But even if people say "Trumpcoin," it's just semantics at that point.

And crypto becoming "not great" at certain points in time is subjective, of course. But I'm sure some people would consider the Mt. Gox and DAO events not so great... Wink

Have you seen the mess that's going on with Ethereum? They violated the most crucial principle of crypto which is immutability. Plus look at 99% of the ANN coins posted every day, it's a disgrace.

Nobody is claiming Bitcoin isn't great, but crypto as a whole is turning into penny stocks circa 1990's. There room (a need?) for true and transparent business ideas that manifest themselves thru crypto.

The Chinese communists control Bitcoin and every other PoW currency.  That's all you need to know.

Trump Fund Movement

You will see the Trump Funds moving around today as I move the coins into the new permanent Trump Fund wallet address, which is TSt65isKg47WXPEXa7Rq866QCTNxYFL2CB. The new wallet exists in a highly secure PCI DSS Level 1 server environment and supports our needs for shared access with checks and balances like purchase orders, expense and sales reporting, invoicing, receipts, and approval/release chains.

Once the move is complete, the fund can be monitored by everyone here: http://chain.blockpioneers.info/trump/search.php?id=TSt65isKg47WXPEXa7Rq866QCTNxYFL2CB

I will be providing updates later tonight with more details.

nice and professional behaviour letting the community know before it all begins. a nice way to fend off the fudders who might appear to spread nonsense.
this update sounds great. looking forward to hearing more about what is coming.

has an iOS/android wallet been started yet?
