Pokemon GO and Bitcoin would be a killer combo

some people in my country become an addicted playing this game and they will wake up in the midnight and catch the pokemon and i think the creator of pokemon go will not interested to include bitcoin into the game because this game already famous without bitcoin also if pokemon go integrated with bitcoin doesn't automatically all pokemon go players will use bitcoin and i have to say that this is will never happen

This Pokemon GO game has really just exploded in my country since launched, i think we were one of the 1st to get it, now i see people here offering to pay other members btc to catch Pokemon for them.

If bitcoin could explode in the same way we would see a massive price spike, maybe it's time we rebrand- bitcoin GO sounds good.

First, you would not be able to get BTC so quickly. Also, with the current DDOS attacks they face, security would be a concern.
Second, BTC is volatile. They can't risk losing lots of invest on a currency that goes down tomorrow.
Third, They need a good trusted wallet for each user. It all sums up being very complex.

I agree with the volatility aspect of the bitcoin. It is too volatile, you cannot mark the equipment price in bitcoin.

But oddly, that game is feared by some people in my country, even the government. They're afraid because there are so many accident cases are concerned with this game, I don't know what they think, this is just stupid.

I have been testing it out and it's still very stages but you can tell the game has huge potential if they add more stuff, like more complex battle system with turns instead of just tapping on the screen which is pretty dumb and so on.

But the great thing would be to get BTC instead of those coins. Also being able to buy stuff with BTC (you can already do with fiat but not BTC).

I hope that we can see BTC in games like this. Imagine the extra incentive of getting BTC and not only Pokemons.

Thats a good idea,, it would be better if someone complete all the pokemons will win some $$$$!!!

This would be a great combination if they offer something like that. You will not just enjoy the game but will be able to earn bitcoin. You were already playing and enjoying the game because it was your dream to catch pokemons when you were watching the show during your childhood days and now it came true and then by earning through it as well with bitcoin would be added bonus.

I think he meant for integration of bitcoin to the game itself that's why I state that it won't happen for some many factors.

The only solution for that is a serious developer that will developed a bitcoin game with the same feature.

Pokemon Go is a trend,a fashion.After a couple of month it will be forgotten.
 
I have an idea about a strategy mobile game,where you bet btc and play against the other player who bets

Pokemon Go inntegrated with bitcoin is really a killer combo.  The popularity of pokemon among kids and adults alike, can give bitcoin a boost in terms of promotion.  This will greatly help for Bitcoin promotion in every part of the world and reaching people aging from 15 years old and younger.  But for this to be done, Lots of modification and fund is needed.

No one has said that they should put the price in BTC obviously the price would be in dollars or euro or whatever country you are playing Pokemon GO at, but being able to pay with BTC would be a plus.

Also I don't see how it would be difficult to code a way to pay you BTC in game so you can buy in game items too but I guess that's too much work for them and they will simply stick to ingame pokecoins or whatever, but they should still add a way to buy stuff with your BTC.

Maybe it could happen friend in some countries. But for my country might be a bit difficult to play pokemon go. Due to my government now start to create a circular on the prohibition of pokemon go. Because according to the government pokemon GO addictive, really said you but it does not really bother me because I do not play this game, it is better to play dota

There are many reasons proving otherwise:

1) Bitcoin is too volatile. And don't suggest something like BitPay, as that's basically instantly selling the BTC for Fiat at purchase, which is dumping into the market, not good.

2) Security issues. With all the DDoSes on their servers and greatest downtimes, anything can happen, from broken transactions to Go getting their private key stolen.

We might see some online games take payment in BTC as a first step.
But it will be a while before a major company like Nintendo, EA, etc has any sort of integration with Bitcoin.

It's a win win situation for both parties if this push through people who are not into bitcoin but are on pokemon can be introduce to crypto currency for the first time,and pokemon player will be rewarded with a valuable asset like bitcoin who's expected to increase it's price every year..

Would be very cool if they made a better battling system and you could put up some bitcoin for winning the fight.

The only potential problem I see with that is that it is currently for all ages. Once money is being placed on winning a fight, it would probably be required to be over 18 years old. Maybe they could trick it by giving victory points that can be converted to nice prizes and bitcoin though.

Pokemon Go will not integrate bitcoin features in their game unless there will be massive request from it's users.

For Pokemon Go to integrate bitcoin into it's features, it means the players have to pay something. The pay would be in fiat, but players will have the option of paying in bitcoins.
