Pokemon GO and Bitcoin would be a killer combo

I have been testing it out and it's still very stages but you can tell the game has huge potential if they add more stuff, like more complex battle system with turns instead of just tapping on the screen which is pretty dumb and so on.

But the great thing would be to get BTC instead of those coins. Also being able to buy stuff with BTC (you can already do with fiat but not BTC).

I hope that we can see BTC in games like this. Imagine the extra incentive of getting BTC and not only Pokemons.

Second, BTC is volatile. They can't risk losing lots of invest on a currency that goes down tomorrow.
Third, They need a good trusted wallet for each user. It all sums up being very complex.

They aren't compatible and never will.

If you want a same game feature of Pokemon Go, a standalone bitcoin game app must be made.

Pokemon Go will not integrate bitcoin features in their game unless there will be massive request from it's users.

I don't see how's so difficult. Steam accepts payments, so Pokemon GO could accept payments too, at least to buy the actual Pokemon coins in exchange of BTC instead of fiat. Volatility is irrelevant since they automatically convert to fiat.

Yeah this is a good idea but if there is no someone out there can tell this idea in owner of the pokemon go or devs of pokemon go.. this is just a dream..
But i think they know about bitcoin. but they are affraid to use it because they need to learn first the rpc command for debian server for there receiving bitcoins and sending payment gateway.

I would assume that if this gets done they would use a payment processor like Bitpay to manage the massive amount of transactions in a faster way just like Steam uses Bitpay too.

This game is a social phenomenon I have to give it that but I don't think Bitcoin will be a suitable match for it. First of all Apple and Google have their own payment solutions on their respective app markets and Bitcoin will be competing with their own payment apps. Also Nintendo is pretty strict when it comes to trading in-game items so even if the app stores somehow allow Bitcoin on the platforms Nintendo might just refuse adding it to the game.

I think that pokemon go will not add bitcoin like payment procesor for buy things becaude bitcoin in real world isnt more popular then fiat.I think  1/500 persons are using bitcoin right now.They will maybe add bitcoin later when it becomes more popular.

From the perspective of their worldwide popularity I can surely state that they will never implement bitcoin to it.
Moreover their developers are not familiar with bitcoin.

No doubt pokemon go has become huge popular and it would be great if they add bitcoin but game devepolers make games to earn money why would they give it away instead in bitcoin which is very expensive?

I can feel you on that being dumb.  I agree that it would be better if the leveling system of pokemon go is the same as it was.  And it will really a killer combo if Bitcoin is integrated on that game.  You can imagine every kid of the new generation that know Pokemon will know about Bitcoin.  And that's a great promotion for Bitcoin awareness.  It will be beneficial for both Bitcoin and Pokemon enthusiasts.

My opinion is merging Pokemon & Btc would be risky, atm ppl are going crazy with that shit, im seeing groups of ppl running around searching for pokemons , this means fans are losing control & meaning of playing a game, we all have read about Lineage tards that have killed someone in rl because he PK them in game & loot them,
Now imagine what will happen if X guy meet Y guy on an alley searching for pokemon and know that he cellphone has also a btc wallet...

I don't think so if you do not see how's so difficult for that. maybe can answer my question. Why the another phenomenal game like Clash of clans, and Clash royale didn't accept BTC? maybe there is another reason than the price just volatility.

After Pokemon GO released on playstore in my country i think if i still can buy google gift card via bitcoin, it will not be a problem and both of that thing still can be called related right
