I don't see any problems coming to anyone who would gamble under the age of 18 because if they have sources like bitcoins, no one would ask for KYC information due to which even minors can gamble. In other types of sites where KYC is needed, I don't think they would let underaged to gamble.
it does not matter if there are children under 18 years old to gamble to gamble, but I guess it really will affect his future, even be very harmful if they had been craving to gamble when they were under 18 years old. I had indeed seen some children who play gambling, but I do not have the right to forbid them to gamble, but I think there is a better way to generate a bitcoin, maybe they could look for bitcoin with other alternatives that could make nominally become more productive, such as trading or investment. |

They are irresponsible parents if they will allow their kids to be involved in any gambling activity. And kids should not really be in gambling because those people who are able to sustain their gambling addiction are the ones who can gamble without restriction because they have their own source. But for a kid, when it becomes addicted where he will get his source? |

I want to know if anyone here gambles or have gambled under the age of 18, I feel like there are many kids who do this and I am interested to see how many people actually gamble under 18, if you have any friends that gamble or have gambled under 18 include them.
EDIT: I mean mostly kids online, its hard to be a kid and gamble physically. I feel like the gambling rate for kids is increasing a lot and is gonna be a problem in the future, especially with the CS:GO situation. EDIT2: Another question to ask, is what is your opinion on the topic of kids gambling, do you think it is a growing problem or a problem alone for that matter? EDIT3: What is the best way to counter this problem without websites having to know your exact identity? Most kids online are always looking for fun and yeh gambling for them is really exciting and more thrill for them, and the graph of the kids who gambling is really increase some of website or gambling website don't have restricted or don't have the policy that you need to become 18 years above before you play. |

With regards to gamblers who are under age, well, we can't prevent it when it is online specially when they are using bitcoin. No one is asking about the age or if they are asking, no one asks for a proof, so gambling sites can't stop kids to play at their sites. But in real life gambling they can't do that. |

That is what parents should do. With the things that you've mentioned, I think it is illegal, probably they are playing along the streets or they found a hide out that they could do that. Parents are aware that it is wrong, only that what their children could win in gambling are part of their bread and butter. In short they have no choice. The worst scenario with that this children might end up using drugs, drinking alcohol, pick a fight on the street, or worst, starts to be trained as thief. |

In other thoughs poverty might be the cause where there kids engage and learn to gamble since parents cannot attain to their kids since they are at work nor finding some ways to earn money just to get food to eat, and thats why their kids learn since peer pressure can brought them up on that messy situation thats why we must give some little updates on what are kids doing since we can make them avoid on worse situation that can be hard to lift out. |

Honestly, I didn't see any restriction in the gambling sites, they don't even ask your name, as long as you have an account in their site and you have a money to fund your bankroll, that's enough for them... I think it will be hard for the site to implement such thing, aside from it is hard to detect who are minors and who are not, children are also customers, and the sites could profit from them like how they profit from adults... |

It is not about the verification of ID, it is about the responsibility of those parents who are allowing their kids (minors) to gamble. But it seems that because of fast growing gambling industry in bitcoin, it cannot be regulated anyway. And it is more in the favor of those gambling sites, because there are some who don't care if their players are under 18 y/o. |

Capradina I am really careful when I gamble I earn 100%without any risk on gambling sites  because I use dice sites with faucet and poker sites with freeroll tournaments and I dont depo there my money only when are some deposit promotions but I depo only little amount of money.So I am really big gambling expert now with big experience and I earn really big now Pretty impressive that you have such control and knowledge at that age because I am 5 years more than your age and still when I gamble on dice sites I often deposit a lot more which I actually intended to bet. I would suggest you to stay away from gambling though since its like a slow poison mate, I am sorry to use words like that |

It is not about the verification of ID, it is about the responsibility of those parents who are allowing their kids (minors) to gamble. Well I think its about both, the parents making sure it never happens and the company making sure they don't allow to happen, so that the parent can feel like they can give their kid some freedom on the internet. With all the FIAT sports books and casinos asking all kind of documents for verification pretty much you don't stand a chance to play there under the age of 18.
Totally different with bitcoin. Bitcoin is freedom for anyone. I don't know if it's bad or not bad for people to gamble under the age of 18 (personally I think it is bad) but bitcoin casinos and sportsbook allows this.
Since the person under 18 is playing with bitcoin, I assume he is smart enough to know bitcoin so I also assume he can differ good from bad.
