Do any people gamble under the age of 18?

During my younger years, I've seen many peoples under 18 gambles almost daily. With the proliferation of internet gambling, young participants are multiplied including those who are still in elementary levels. Many young people today might no longer just experience gambling and some survey said that eight in 10 teenagers have participated in some form of gambling.

well that's the harsh truth about gambling nowadays dude. with the internet easily available to anyone at any age, it would be hard to regulate who can access gambling sites. so i think it would be up to the parents to monitor and teach their children about gambling and how it can affect them. there's really no other way to it. even governments won't be able to do anything about minors gambling and let's face it, a lot of minors are already engaged in gambling even at a very very young age. so responsibility would be with the minor's parents and guardians to give information to their kids so that they would be responsible enough to refrain accessing gambling sites or engaging in gambling

I'm sure that there exists a person of the age 16-17 who does gamble his money. Probably still his allowance or some money he/she made it out of part-time jobs. I personally don't have a problem with them gambling its the addiction or other consequences that I'm worried about. I see a lot of adults that are addicted to gambling and need medical help/ rehab to get out of it but they don't. When it comes to kids, the %age of those cases would be higher. It is never advisable to gamble in the first place if its not for just entertainment.

Yeaa basically as long as you gamble something what you have earned by yourself it is not problem for even a kids.
The problem is on how their future could changed with this bad habit!

EDIT: I mean mostly kids online, its hard to be a kid and gamble physically. I feel like the gambling rate for kids is increasing a lot and is gonna be a problem in the future, especially with the CS:GO situation.

i think online casinos will allow people under 18 to gamble because there is no restrictions for people in under 18 or not and while we are playing gambling, we don't have to send our ID for verification. and this is why many people under 18 years are playing gambling with safe and don't have to fear to get caught.

As long as there is no one that regulates online gambling, this problem will just happen over and over again... Almost all online gambling sites don't ask your identity, and money is your passport to enter the site... Too bad that law about computer and internet is still new and still has ways to evade it... Maybe in time, this will be fixed...

Parents could help to prevent minors from entering online gambling site, however, with today's way of living, almost all parents are outside for work and the children were left in the house and experiment on things around them...

Bitcoin casinos/dice sites don't/won't ask for id verification, if they did they'll lose a lot players/gamblers. they do warn before entering/registering at the site, i think that's all they can do. parents should be looking after their children's expenses and when they suspect of gambling activities, then they should take necessary action.

not only online casinos but the physical casinos are also responsible for giving entry to those boys who are still under the age of 18. i think it is really effected their life too much while playing gambling in such an early stage of their life. i think this trend must be control.

To be honest i already gambling/betting from Junior high school (15 years old), and i still remember which kind of gambling i did at the time. I make betting for Champions League at Match Juventus VS Dortmund (its on semi final match if im not wrong)
