Lol actually science can deny it . They can just say chance.  Between the two, i do believe in chance too because luck somehow has no basis unlike the probability or chance of winning.  There is more concrete explanation in science about chance and how hard or easy it will be.  Unlike luck which somehow refer to extra ordinary phenomena (paranormal) which science tends to resist LOL.
