That idea would not be practical and that's probably why it didn't happen till now, You can easily exchange BTC to USD and withdraw it to local currency through a bank account or use fiat and buy BTC in a BTC ATM, No need for a physical shop to take a cut.

I think almost everyone has an ATM card and they can use it to buy Bitcoins online. People nowadays are too lazy to step outside especially when they are just going to buy something. Even clothes and other basic necessities are now being ordered online instead of going to the mall to buy them. What makes Bitcoin any different?
People would still choose to buy Bitcoins from their home. This idea isn't that bad because it would somehow raise awareness about Bitcoin amongst non-Bitcoin users but the impact that it'll make isn't enough to inflate the price of Bitcoin.

I think that running a real shop in a city costs a lot of money. Remember, you are in direct competition to everybody who sells online bitcoins, becaus today nearly everybody has a smartphone, so everybody can buy bitcoins online everywhere. I don't see how you can sell bitcoins in a real shop for a price people would pay, and that same price should cover your costs for a real shop.

Hey Guys, what would be your opinion if there would been Bitcoin shops in big cities like London, Berlin or Paris (also smaller cities). So you could go inside the shop and buy or sell Bitcoin for a good price. I think it would be an good (and an advantage) idea because more people would use Bitcoin so the price would rise up and the people who are owning Bitcoins at the moment would have more money in Bitcoins. Best regards, Patrick IF there s a shop that would been accept bitcoin as a payment it should be a supermarkets because there are lots of things that we can buy ofcourse there are all we needs like foods goods and many more people who using bitcoin will be 100% will be happy if this happens

Europe and America are always a step soap or even a few steps ahead.

It was long time ago when I watched video on youtube about 4 guys buying coffee for bitcoins, 25 % discount if you buy with bitcoins. It was some drive in, they paid from phone. Similar things will work in big cities, if you offer some nice discount for people to buy with bitcoins they will come and buy something. In modern world there is so much of everything, so you need to have on first place quality products, then good prices, and constant promotions, discounts, and similar things. That is what will make people come to your shop. Idea like idea is good, but you need good realization if you wish to have some good profit from that business.

And that is without taking into consideration that bitcoin is mostly an online currency and as such the whole purpose of bitcoin is to make online transactions easier for its users.

I think this is a good idea. The problem is that no one will do it unless there is a way to make some money at it. You would, need to find ways to make some profit on the transactions or merchandise.

It is really so good idea but i think bitcoin is not ready, i think for this idea in my country , many people doesnt know much about bitcoin and for example we opened big shoping center in my country for to use bitcoin i think people will not understand what happen inside of shopping because of its needs advertisement and it is mean bitcoin needs time for that.

Really? never heard about it. do u happen to know the name or any information on how it operates? I would love to check it out the next time i visit. if it really happened of course it would be a shocking news of the year, I'm sure when a city has an official place for spending bitcoin, then stores in other cities will follow suit as well

I think that Europe and America are ahead of the rest on the development and the economic situation. It is therefore not surprising that even that bitcoin is being introduced into use in real life.

The idea sounds nice since it would seem fun but the practicality is very low if any, You can easily exchange BTC for USD in a short period of time using exchanges or in peer to peer deals, Physical shops for things like movies etc... are finished because of the internet so don't a digital currency would need a physical shop.

I think that what happens is basically all. Earn bitcoin and then sell it for dollars to buy something in the shops because bitcoin is not a popular currency.

It's a surprise if that physical shop will be present in those areas where bitcoin is really unusual to people's ear.

Best regards, Patrick Yes Bro I Agree With Your Idea I Think Its a Good Idea Because When I Want to Sell My Bitcoins Then I Have To Find A Reputable Person To Sell My Bitcoins Online And Also It Involves Some Risk, But If It is Possible On Shops To Buy Sell Bitcoins Then the Risk Would Be Zero So More People Come To Bitcoin and Also the Price of Bitcoin Increases....

Ya just like you said, mostly in the area who are popular with bitcoin, most of the merchant and shop will accept bitcoin as a payment.Like at the big city or main city,we also can see atm machine for bitcoin. But unfortunately,at small city, there will rare case if the merchant can accept bitcoin as a payment from buyer.
