I think most of the benefits are obvious in both.

cryptocurrencies has the benefit of being decentralized (to some extent) and more importantly is that you are handling everything on your own without relying on a third party like banks for using your own money. so nobody can block your money or take it from you, and if you follow certain security rules you will always be safe from hacks,...

but there is a big problem with using cryptocurrencies and that is the fact that there is not enough places to spend it as a currency (it is not yet adopted fully) so we are all stuck with using fiat.

I mainly use cryptocurrency to gamble or trade, I can make alot of money this way. As soon as I reach a certain amount I sell my crypto and buy fiat as it is more useful to me, it is easier to spend. I only use crypto for certain services.

at this point I like using crypto to do things online but still prefer fiat in person cause its much easier to deal with as most places dont take it or its taking to long
to get everything done. If more places took crypto i would much prefer to use that though

I'm using Crypto in online world. As long as I'm online, I can earn it anytime and anywhere, no boundaries. I can manage it myself too, send and receive payments, trade and invest. I have a full control of my earnings. On the other side, I use fiat on my everyday life, I earn it on my full time job. I can spend it anytime and anywhere on different stores, but of course there is tax deduction.

But there are more fiat gambler then the cryptocurrency gambler as there are more number of casinos all around the world and more gambler too !
yeah but is soon future i think more physical stores will be accepting bitcoin so it will be more important then fiat !

Do we take sides or?. I earn crypto but i need to convert it to fiat in order for me to spend it. Crypto is easily transferable and it has nothing to do with the government. Crypto as we know circulates in the internet and the only risk is scammers but it's on you if u got scammed many times. the same with fiats currencies.

You must need both of them , you work and get paid with cryptocoin and then exchange to flat for your needs.
And the good point with cryptocoins you can earn interest with it and you can send your bitcoin anywhere you want with less fee.

I think there is one thread that talks about bitcoin vs fiat. When it is crypto, then it is all the online currencies.
Both have their own usage and must exist at the same time for the convenience of all people.

The benefit from using fiat
- You can buy anything for easily in every place in your are or region
-The store is always accepted fiat payment
-It's legal currency with the government regulate

the benefits of using bitcoin
-it's decentralized
-anonymity it's enough for covering your personal data
-easy for using for the online digital transaction

Between the benefits of bitcoin, you can get there are disadvantages for every type currency.

If you are asking whether bitcoin or fiat, i would definitely say bitcoin because it is a good investment tool, but if alt coin i kind of doubt which one to choose, some of the coin is very unstable in one minute the price is sky rocket the other minute it can down to a hole, so if invested in bitcoin i would definitely say yes, but alt coin i would say fiat is better

We have very much alike. I do the exact same, but I can't to sell my Bitcoin and get Fiat. But I use BTC to buy Steam keys and digital technologies using a Bitcoin debit card. However, I do think that fiat would be more useful to me compared to cryptocurrency.

Both of them have their own benefits, for real world use fiat is the first one cant be changed for few decades maybe and for online purposes I prefer more bitcoin because its cheaper and most of the time faster than online banking transfers.

For now, Fiat is the more used by people. But I believe as the time goes by people will start using Cryptocurrency, because it's the most suitable for now and for the future. Because using Cryptocurrency is more practical than using fiat money, you don't have to bring a lot of them in your wallet. So you don't have to worry for your money will be stolen. Well, it depends on how you keep your cryptocurrency. If you do it with the proper way, then you are safe. But if you do not use the best security system to protect your wallet, then you are not that good.

for me. fiat is the best. we use it for many years and it still fiat and strong. the price is stable and its legal.
while on the other hand, crypto is good too but there price is very volatile and easy to be dump. so it is not stable
but we can also use it for profit.

each of them are made for a different purpose, you can't really compare them in my opinion.

fiat has been around for a very long time and it is being accepted everywhere in the world without an exception and all fiat currencies can be exchanged to each other.

bitcoin offers a lot of benefits like the security and decentralization and many other things that others have explained above me. but the problem with bitcoin is adoption.

all other crypto currencies which are altcoins are a lesser version of bitcoin. they have many good features but not all of them are good but some have good future ahead themselves even if today they are sharing a small part of the market.

The main difference is accessibility, acceptability, anonymity and cost & fees. Right now crypto currency has advantage of 3 things and fiat is well just on acceptability.

You can send crypto coins anywhere in the world without any heavy costs but if you are transferring fiat then you might have to pay heavy charges on such transfers.

Fiat is popular just because it’s the traditional way of transactions and since crypto currency is new and getting momentum, it’s comparatively less popular.

Crypto currency has biggest advantage of anonymity which is not possible in fiat unless you are dealing through negative channels like havala network.

Prefer cryptocurruncy because they are fast,secure and you have full contol on your money. But it will take lot of time before cryptocurruncy replace fiat or it may never happen in my lifetime
