We all know the similarities and differences , advantage and disadvantages of the two.  Crypto  is pushing a decentralized form of  monetary system while fiat money is already under a centralized monetary system.  Crypto being easily transmitted globally while specfic country fiat money need to be converted to international currency then convert it to wherever country is the one receiving it.

i think it doesn't matter how many more topics about this subject are created and how many people reply to it, nobody will undestand the difference really until they have tried both systems themselves for some time.

obviously we have all used fiat so we don't need more experience there, so i suggest you use bitcoin for real like in going out and buying something with it to feel for yourself what the difference is.

even though the existence of fiat has a far bigger history in my opinion bitcoins will be way bigger in the future, i think everyone will be using it every day

Prefer cryptocurruncy because they are fast,secure and you have full contol on your money. But it will take lot of time before cryptocurruncy replace fiat or it may never happen in my lifetime

well what make you think you don't have a full control of fiat money even you're holding its and can use or store it by your will and right?
also fiat (physical money) don't need even a confirmation,however bitcoin could win on digital side

If i had to choose i would go for bitcoin, as an online investor and buyer, bitcoin has all to support the marketplace 24/7 something with fiat you arent able, banks controls your money and offer you credit cards with their fees. For a daily basic it would need cash but bitcoin can be sold and bought anytime for any place, trusted for sure. The fact the governement has no control over it or tax makes bitcoin more shinning as well.

Fiat is needed for survival, but crypto is the future, so yeah it is hard.
But we don't have to choose, we are lucky enough to be able to use both, which is exactly what I am doing at the moment.

Of course I use much more fiat than bitcoins.
Cash and coins have the advantage of being relatively anonymous.
But everybody needs a bank account, at least where I live.
I would say that fiat is necessary, and bitcoin luxury.

Depends on the usage mainly.  Both has its own benefits, like bitcoin can be used instantly through the internet while fiat can be used when you buy from a physical store. But honestly, I'd prefer bitcoin over fiat because fiat has its own restriction, and that is if its not under the jurisdiction of the government, you can't use it directly, whereas in bitcoin, it is globally accepted. Plus, no one controls bitcoin.

Why is fiat used for survival? Do you mean people use it on a daily basis to buy day to day groceries and for that reason it falls under the survival side? There are a guy who lived on Bitcoin for 1 year

and travelled all over the world, without having to use fiat for day to day survival, so you can survive on bitcoin if you need to. The advantage Bitcoin has over fiat is that you can use it globally without

having to convert to other currencies to pay for services and goods. {You use it directly between people}

They difference but you can use the to buy but bitcoin has still have a limitation and i think fiat will be still the best to choose for local and internationality bitcoin can help your fiat to transfer all over the world fast.. you can get benefits in bitcoin just to buy and hold for a long time and sell it when the price of bitcoin is high..

you can use bitcoin that way too, just order a bitcoin debit card. it is visa/mastercard so any place will accept.
