 I don't understand one thing, if there is a big dump, which means massive selling of coins, doesn't that means also that someone is buying those coins?

 Why price is falling, when there is many people who buy and sell coins, many transactions. Why price doesn't go up?

people are about to withdraw their coins from bitfinex (or atleast whats left of their coins) and are planning on cashing out of bitcoin. also the fact that the hacker may not have sold the bitcoins and is planning on selling soon can cause price drops.

ok lets say we have a small market of 10 people. lets assume its balanced so theres 5 people selling btc and theres 5people buying btc. but if the 5 people start selling more than what the 5 can buy, theres a surplus of bitcoins. so what do the 5 people do? they lower their prices so their bitcoins get bought first. and the market will keep forcing a low price, untill there are more buy offers than sell offers. at that point people will put up buy offers for  higher price so they get the first buy.

Actually there is still some fear in traders about those stolen 60 million USD worth of bitcoin. Question is still there about whether hacker already dumped those coins or not.

The price has dropped to about $100 few days before, may be the hacker had sold part of the coins and after this problem solved he may sell the remaining.

Well we don't know i the hacker still holding those coins or he is planning to hold it and wait more months to sell his coins.
For now better to wait or buy some of bitcoin so that you will not lose a lot..

I think panic dump right now is done and the price right now is good and very stable at 587 according to preev from yesterday and today..
And lets hope that the price will increase more instead of decreasing..

Too much volatility in the markets due to loss of confidence anyway the big players most of the time win.

The value is beginning to slip, but I don't think that we're going to be seeing a definite drop in the value for a little while.

What do you mean?   The bitfinex hack was sufficient reason to cause that panic, if this had happened before
of halving the price probably would be at least $300 or $400.

After Bitcoin took off, people started to create their own variations. Most of these variations have offered no meaningful improvement over Bitcoin. They instead are just popular among speculators who pump and dump, hoping to buy in at a low price and sell to some fool at a higher price.

The only two alt-coins that have actually made an improvement meantime are ZeroCoin and Ethereum.
now ethereum too met a slight fall and hope bitcoin will rise very soon to $700.

I missed the chance to buy the bitcoin when the price dropped to below $500. I did not have fiat in the exchange.
