it is not a crash but it is normal because many miners abandon mining bitcoin while they moved to other profitable project so 400 $ by the end of this year is definitely possible price.
Really lol?? Other profitable project and then what? It will just add more troll coins in the making. Bitcoin is only crypto that can last for a long term. Other coins are just for short term profits. So a serious miner will just put efforts on bitcoin even the rewards are drop. Yes i agree with you bitcoin is only long lasting project but with halving everyone knows that mining bitcoin is not profitable anymore . Even with halving and miners profit reduced to half, there is no stoppage of mining. Bitcoins prices are still going up . The people who have setup large infrastructures for mining are not going to give up and it is still profitable to them. That's all what we are waiting to happen which is the price increase, I think it could happen this year and there is no major crash really as the price is backing up already, it takes a little time before we will sit comfortably to $600+ as the previous price before the fall back. I am sorry but we have already have seen the major move up happen. It was followed by a fall below $600 because of the Bitfinex hack. Now I do not think that there will be any major moves up or down. We will continue to stay under $600 until the end of this year and some parts of next year. I think if bitcoin price stays at 600$ till the end of the year without being major pump or dump, it will be good for overall credibility of bitcoins. We dont want a situation where bitcoin rises to 800$ for few days and then coming back down to 400$ or so. I am much more optimistic. I believe the bitcoin price will be at least $800 or double last year's price in December. The value of Bitcoin will be determined by regulation and some other factors which are ultimately controlled by government. I am optimistic, the sheer force of Bitcoin and the revolution it brings to our outdated currency systems will allow it to flourish. |

For example, the Bitfinex lost 120k due to its own errors, but traders have to bear the cost. |

The bitcoin price is not crashing. It is just dropping to $570 now. I think the market hot spot is in the altcoin such as Ethereum and Dash coin. |

Yeah and fall was not too high, that can be managed as price again started to rise slowly after that, and I think in next few months price will be much higher so keep on buying at a moment. |

Different people have different risk tolerance. I bet a lot sold when the price went from $620 to $500. The opposite can be said of others. While others panic sold during that plummet, there are those who took advantage of the decline. We don't know how long we are going to stay below $600 but what I know is this is a good time to buy and accumulate as much as your budget allows you.

No, not really bitcoin is not regulated in most countries and because of that situation like recent Bitfinex hack can still occur. We need to impose some serious regulations on crucial bitcoin services like exchanges or payment providers. Without regulation of business bitcoin is financial wild west. |

it's definitely a crash look, it's $100 already from when the hack started, so around 15%, this can be called a big drop, and the trend is continuing in a bad way with more bad news that create another panic dump and fud opportunity |

I would consider a crash when the price drops $100 - $200 and that's not happening now, the price is not as stable as it was at $600+ but the price is falling down slightly and slowly which makes me think that until the end of the year the price can go up to $400.

That is too low. I however think the price might fall to the lower $500's in the coming week(s). If it happens to fall below $500 anyway, then I'll most likely buy some coins, but it will be sad to see the price drop that low. |
