I'm so disappointed seeing this. You have here legendary people acting as a trusted escrow, other project's devs wanting stolen money.
Bitcoin community wants to change the world for the better.

you sure about that? do you need proof to think otherwise? is this thread enough?

the internet's filled with scummy, scammy assholes. they're gonna flock to bitcoin like flies to shit. it's the perfect combo. i'm surprised this site isn't a whole lot worse than it is.

even the honest people are greedy and want something for nothing, except it's not for nothing. they're harming people by feeding this.

He didn't just steal from the rich like robin hood supposedly did you bell, he stole from Bitfinex customers - not from bitfinex's private stash of bitcoins. Not everyone who had btc on bitfinex was rich.

I'm confused...

There are some people posting here saying that they want the 1,000BTC so they could send it back to Bitfinex.
There are some people elsewhere on this forum saying the Bitfinex hack was an inside job.

If this thread really is about stolen coins then what how would 1,000 compensate any victims when the total stolen was 120x that?
If it was an inside job, why hand it back to the insiders?
What is the point in caffeine-free coffee? (not relevant but I do wonder)

And why would this be the hacker anyway?  Anybody can set up an account that says something provocative when read backwards.  Is it not more likely that this thread is just a wind-up?
