I have used both and liked Android more. The only advantage of the WP was that it had a much better battery. For Android, you have far more apps and options.

I think android is much better than the windows phone. You can do a lot of changes on android and it has a lot of free games & apps. It is also user friendly. Been using android for many years so I'm kinda bias on android phone.

I think that windows phone has not yet gained such popularity to compete with Android. We need more time.
