windows phone looks unique in a sense that more people prefer android, but in terms of customization i choose android since you have a lot of control and options on it plus if you can root your device

Their interface is better
Their App Store has more apps

I prefer using an android phone over a windows phone as there are far more applications (e.g. games) that are compatible and available in android phones.It is also more user-friendly in my opinion.
