Motherfucker.  Now all my pools, including fail overs are down.  When are the big operators going to get some decent DDOS protection? 

DDOS protection costs a lot. Only biggest BTC pools can afford it.
Exactly, and even then, even btcguild has no *paid* ddos protection.

Well, that would explain why my connection conked out last night while I was at work, and I guess why my results have been pitiful so far (just started mining a couple days ago). What a time to start, huh? Here I was thinking I must have had my settings all screwed up or something.... though, I probably still don't have them set right. :-/
