Bought some coins on YoBit today. What's all this talk about a coin swap? Are my coins in danger? Should I do anything?

Your coins are in grave danger....................................of rocketing to the moon!!!!!!!

Nah, your coins are fine.  Leave them in Yobit, withdrawal them, whatever you want to do.  Coin swap coming but details and ETA have yet to be announced so do whatever you want to in the meantime.

A lot of people have reported issues, so not sure I would advise depositing there.

I've only seen problem while wallet is in maintenance, which is kinda natural.

Did you get this sorted out? Else join the Slak channel, people tend to be more active in there.

Normally if I see wallet maintenance on yobit then I wait until wallet is up to date, but once it sent, coins arrived seconds after.

Sunday update:

I am currently working on the block time and block size specifications. The block time is going to be rather short. This will allow fast opening/closing of Donar channels and keep the timelock resolution precise. Regarding block size, Bitcoin Unlimited has a nice approach. The main idea is to keep the ceiling open, which mitigates the lightning network failure mode. The equilibrium between block size and propagation of blocks will create a healthy fee market, unlike Bitcoin's forced approach. It then becomes important to economically disincentivize performing any kind of transaction flooding. I already have a couple of solutions in mind.

By the way, I think I will have something to show within the next couple of weeks. Also, I got some help setting up a new website. Keep an eye on it regarding any future coinswap deadlines and info. So make sure to bookmark it.

Thanks for the clarification.

I guess this means that potentially there is a new codebase on its way?

Also wondering whether there will be a complete rebrand, or will all the names and (marketing) strategies remain the same?
