The miner seems to be very CPU intensive.  Mine with 1-2 GPU on a rig and the hash is 500-600, mine with 6-7 GPU on a rig and it is the same.  Is there a way around this? I have tried using the remaining GPU's on a different coin but they suffer as well.

I think your JAVA crashed. Close the miner and the wallet and check your Running Programs, you JAVA.EXE might use 50% or 100% CPU.

Usually killing that program and restarting the miner helps.

Thanks...I mined this coin back a couple of months ago--now I need to find that darn wallet Wink

Can the proxy be on only 1 machine and the rest connecting to it like the old Ethereum proxy? (using the 0.2 miner)

Thanks

I think you can but I never did because keep in mind that the proxy needs to seperate each GPU so the nonce is different so you aren't doing the same work. The Payload is limited so if you have too many GPUs on 1 proxy, the GPUs will do the same work twice.

I had this issue where a R9 290 kepts submitting the same noonce more than once because it ran too fast. It might be fixed with the newer miner however.

Are there no dll files on this opencl proxyminer by vorksholk? I think I saw something included in the files back then.

The block reward needs 100 confirmation for its maturation. Does it mean that I must count 100 more blocks found in the network after I got my reward? For example, I found block #100 then my reward in the wallet turn green after block #200 is found in the network?

Yes it is, you have to wait about 8 hours before you will be able to transfer these coins.

PASCAL MINING PROFITABILITY CALCULATOR

Check the target.  Currently its 30416083

Take the first 2 bits "30" and change from HEX into DEC and you get 48

Take

2^48= 281,474,976,710,656 hashes

Now look at the 3rd bit, its 4. Take 4 / 16 = 0.25

Take 0.25 * 281,474,976,710,656 = 70,368,744,177,664

Add that to the original 2^48

281,474,976,710,656 + 70,368,744,177,664 = 351,843,720,888,320 hashes on average to find 1 block.

If your farm is 1 GH/s

351,843,720,888,320 / 1,000,000,000 = 351,843.72088832 seconds to find a block

Or 5864 Minutes to find a block

Or 97 Hours to find a block

Or 4.07 Days to find a block.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Assuming you hitted the block, no one can share it to you? let say per block is 100pasc, you can take it all?  meaning u minted 100 pas approx u can get 0.06btc in 4days hmmm..

Hi, NorthPixel
But I have waited almost 8hrs now but only 53 blocks found after the reward. On this speed I must wait another 8hrs for 100 blocks completed. The cycle time is already doubled by something like difficulty increasing?

Awww, you missed both trains?
1st one when we CPU/GPU mined it for 15 blocks/day and the 2nd one when exchange price was 500-1000 sats.

I remember this topic before Polo listing, wasn't full of FUD/trolls.

I will never send private messages with payment requests for my auctions. I only communicate transparently via the forum (not Telegram, Discord, Skype & others). Please be wary of scammers.

How do you figure how long it takes to hash a block given your hashrate?
I'd like to know how long I'm looking at with around a 1200mh/s speed, to see if it's profitable or not
