Just wanted to let you guys know that I've been working on an important part of the algo (the multiplication routines) and used many different approaches to try and improve them. Unfortunately I couldn't came with any measurable hashrate increase: the code was already pretty good. I have some ideas left to try and will let you all know.

thank you very much pallas !!

Any word on Windows binaries?

Also there is no intensity tweaking on the older builds?

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

So can we focus for a windows build? Maybe you can merge it with https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=770064.0.

It would be nice to merge with tpruvot's, but it's not trivial: the block header is non-standard, to begin with.

Yeah, windows version would be nice... Seems like this is almost always below ETH+SIA though.

Not to mention I try to setup fast a linux environment but guess what all distros using crappy nouveau ...so i always stuck ..so I need to go the old way with gentoo and doing it from scratch again.
Dunno why they don't offer a text mode or nofb mode anymore like the good old times.

BTT: Yeah windows build gimme..I need a better miner for M7 - pallas maybe you can talk with tpruvot combining forces and resources ..i need to refresh my C++ skills and CUDA skills to long .NET,SQL, Python and PS.

this is the second most profitable now, with the current nethash, so i see it as a nice backup, also the consumption at least is lower than other since the 1070 is not optimized

Building this on windows is not enough. I have buildt it already. It produce correct hash for 20seconds and then it start to produce incorrect hashes. (cuda 6.5)

The speed is pretty good. 5MHASH on the 750ti, vs 4.3 with the djm34 version.

but still bad on a 1070, it seems that pascal really need a new code rewrite after all

Nouveau is not a problem. Look around you'll find many docs on how to remove it. I use ubuntu for example.

Its about forcing me to do it and remove it not to give me choice if i want it. Since it is known that is has problems with newer NV cards it should be optional not mandatory..its against the open source mind ..
The days back since I started with Linux 1996 i always had a choice which drivers i want and which i wont..the install started as option GUI or text based but it has been removed along in Ubuntu(irgs), Fedora, Mint, and so on.

This is how it should not work..even windows does it better and install first a standard VGA driver that works to 100% and then let me do what i have to do...so I'm now installing gentoo with admin-minimal cd :-D needs more time to compile all the stuff but in the end I have want i wanted.

That's OK but it's much faster and easier with ubuntu than with gentoo.
BTW I started with slackware in '93 :-)

Well since I was born 1983 and Germany was reunited 1990..given I was 10 and from east Germany the only computers available have been Robotron and slight amount of C64, and Amiga 500 :-D
Let Slack run on this ..:-D

Well so I wanna Windows build now :-D

And how you know it is faster on clickibuntu than on optimized compiled system from scratch? aka Gentoo or LFS.

I've used gentoo on my servers for enough years to know it's not worth the hassle ;-)

Ah you make me cry like a bully stealing a little childs lillipop ähm marshmallow oh we are at nougat now :-D
Well but it gives you best insight into Linux and when i was using gentoo I was into Kernel hacking and software development -> now the only thing that challenges me is the are the 3h in gym 3 times a week at over 35°C :-D

What i want to say is - Linux was for nerds and for guys knowing what they are doing. Now you also give up all control and depend on what the distro does..like do they use wayland..oh no they are using old X11 oh no X.org ...
Well if you want it fast and dirty sure take any of many ubuntu click and cry solutions but it'Äs not better than using Windows ..:-D

@pallas: My build environment is broken, so no Win build from me at the moment. I do plan on fixing the damn thing, will just take me a couple days or so to get to it... From long ago, I recall some complications with MPIR being a dependency for Windows specifically, though it might no longer be needed? Once I can fix my build environment, I'll have a go at this.

Thanks.
Cpu verification is disabled, so the mpir library shouldn't be needed.
