what happened to the sp windows version he was working on it, and suddently stopped because of a problem on the cpu validation, and then, forgotten?

I compiled and added cpu validation. The miner was working for a while, and then it started to produce wrong hashes. I haven't had the time to look at it after this.

Another 0.02 although I don't use the miner yet ...  Grin

It's just a way to show appreciation of your work.

so a month later still noone donated at least 0.01 or 0.02???

Nothing since the 2 donations at the beginning.

SENT MY DONATION--

Sorry for the delay.  I sent 2 bits your way, not very big, but nearly 1/2 my earnings for about 24 hours mining XCN.  Back to Library Credits (LBC) at the moment.

You know, tsiv's XMR CCminer has been sleeping away since 2014.  If you brought it up to date, your portfolio would contain two significant niche products.  His XMR CCminer compiles easily on Linux, but has no optimizations for the new Pascal cards.       --scryptr

Time permitting, I'll have a look at the cryptonight miner.

TSIV'S WORK NEEDS A TUNE-UP--

It will mine CryptoNight, but when I attempt to mine on NiceHash's new CryptoNight pool, it connects, hashes, but gives nothing but "stratum receive line failed" errors when submitting work.  It does mine CryptoNight successfully on other pools.  Any suggestions for a user-side fix?       --scryptr

IT DOES NOT COMPILE UNDER LINUX--

Thanks!  But, when I clone git and go through the same compilation steps as I did for tsiv's version, the NiceHash version does not compile.  It errors out on missing files, lots of them.  NiceHash has a Windows binary, but no Linux binary.        --scryptr

pallas is rightly mining it before everyone else, to overcome the lack of donation, everyone would do it if it was in his position

this si currently the most profitable

one 1070 at 30MH can do around 800k satoshi, so almost $5 per day, releasing the last version would kill this profit

Pretty true (except the hashrate which is 35 Mh/s now), thanks.

wow 35, that is even better, so the true potential for pascal is still hiding somewhere in the future code

and this is around 0.01 per 1070 every day, very high profit

@pallas - hello - I appear to be successful in compiling the miner on Windows until I get to the very end - it gives the following error:

Error   29   error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'pthread.h': No such file or directory   13   1   ccminer

Do you know what this is caused by?

Thanks - pokeytex

Not sure about windows but maybe something like this might help:

It is just a bunch of files - where do you drop them to have Visual Studio recognize your path in miner.h?

Never used visual studio in my life, sorry.
But any ccminer compiling tutorial for windows should help.
