What's the story on the serpcoin? I see it went steep very quickly?

Other people might have a different take on this:

It's one of the older coins in the cryptocurrency space and quite well known which feeds into it's popularity. It is essentially just a Casascius aluminium with a hologram, hiding a private key on the back. It is loaded with 0.10 bitcoin. Only 48 were produced and every one was numbered, the user greenplastic bought four of these in auctions a few months back.

Just a slight correction, it's 0.01BTC,  not 0.1BTC.

Really? I'd thought that it would go high, but not this much and definitely not this fast.
IIRC the #1 was peeled off or something? I'd say that this makes this one fairly more attractive. I may have mistaken this with another set of coins though.

I find the coin's design kinda post-apocalyptic and I like it. It is like a very rare coin found surviving in a war-damaged world.

That jump from 0.27 to 0.5, though...
