Depends on if the exchange honors it, which depends on the individual exchanges. If you keep it in an Ethereum wallet whose keys you control, you can't go wrong. Or leaving it on the ICO website should be fine too. |

Generally if you own the private key you can ensure you get the dividends. Some exchanges may not be setup to distribute the earnings they get on the hot/cold wallets they use. |
