Not quite true actually.
The big companies like the idea of smart contracts, but none of them has built anything on ethereum blockchain. There is a big difference between testing on and deploying a real product or service on.
Can you point out one product, service or use case that is working on ethereum? Don't tell me Iconomi, but a service that one of these companies that you mentioned are providing?
As for Azure - it is Blockchain as a service, not ethereum as a service.
Sure, IBM and IoT, Microsoft, Santander and others are very much into blockchains and smart contracts. Does it mean they are going to use ethereum blockchain to deploy their services?

I will wait till march, 2017 before making decision on ICONOMI, for now I have decided to leave my tokens on ICONOMI website. My hope is that Poloniex move to list ICONOMI soon. We need huge volume for ICONOMI, just imagine Ethereum is not on Poloniex, Coinbase and those big Chinese exchange with huge volume after the DAO debacle, the price will worth almost nothing now.
