To be honest with you, I wish that we could create a community moderated decentralized forum for Iconomi, something like Steemit.   CyptoInsiders et al have pissed off so many here that they would easily meet the threshold for a community ban.   For example,  if 75% of the community voted a user banned, they would be irrevocably banned.....FOR LIFE!  A decentralized community forum would remove the requirement for us to trust any single person.

This thread would remain for historical purposes, but it would be locked.  No new entries could be made.  All new entries would be made on the moderated thread.  

BTW, I would not be the moderator of the new thread.  Enjorlas created it, so I assume that he will be the moderator.    Perhaps he will add more mods as times goes on (if that's possible).   I don't really have any interest in being a moderator, but I would be willing to do it if the community needed me to.  All I really care about is that we have a friendly place where we can talk about Iconomi in peace without being bombarded by unwanted spam.

This is very interesting. The FUDers seem to put a ton of effort into their trolling. There must be some real profit in this business of theirs. Wonder how  exactly they benefit from this all. Really nothing I can think of is worth all this effort except if they're simply getting paid for it.

maybe the whales saw very big potential on iconomi. they will play this game until release icnx platform. this effort show me , icn can easily go $2-3 so They may want to throw small investors out of the game.

Also for the FUD creators, I'm very impressed by your commitment to driving the price down.

However smart traders know how to sell off correctly to maximize profit.  They don't fat finger the price down 15k all at once....unless they have other intentions.  

I've stared at the charts and I believe I see a pattern emerging.  Seems each of the massive dumps that have occurred have brought the price down ~15k - ~20k satoshis.  Then 3 to 5 days later is the next leg up.

Dump was February 12, 2017 I'm very interested to see what the next few days bring.

I also think that Iconomi is going to soon outgrow Bitcointalk.  We need multiple forums where we can discuss multiple aspects of Iconomi.   The Iconomi Team may have some kind of forums planned for Iconomi.net, but I personally would love to see us build a completely decentralized one on the Ethereum (or some other....Steem??) blockchain.

it's a good idea but i'm not sure about the timing as it may fuel the fud even further, since kids will have the opportunity to spread new messages like "devs are running from us and so on" the intention has to come from lots of people, if so, i'm up for it as well.

on a personal note, i think everybody should have at least 1000 ICN and forget about it for about 2-3 years and then create another bag for closer management in and out, i think most people can afford to forget about 3-400$, ask yourself would you be happy with 1k ETH at this moment ? if so, i rest my case.

i feel sorry for new investors coming here and reading all kinds of crap about this project, it comes with the very nature of the space we're in, unregulated, everybody has a voice, is up to you, the new guy to do your research properly and you will be just fine.

Okay everyone,  I have come to a personal decision.   I did this before.   Back in the day,  I rode Ethereum down all the way to less than 30 cents each.  At one point, it looked like Ethereum was done, and it came roaring back.  Iconomi is going to end up a $10+ coin in the future.  Here is what I did with Ethereum:  when Ethereum went below $0.50, I said that I would not make another social media post until it went back above $1.00 (it took several weeks).  

It's time to batten down the hatches boys!!!  (You don't have to follow me, but I am publicly stating what I AM GOING TO DO).   Today, 2/13/2017, I make the following pledges:

• I WILL NOT SELL A SINGLE ICONOMI AT ANY TIME DURING THE NEXT 365 DAYS.
• THIS IS MY LAST POST ON BITCOINTALK OR REDDIT UNTIL ICONOMI REACHES A PRICE OF 5 U.S. DOLLARS EACH.

It has already been a busy 2017 at ICONOMI HQ. I’d like to take a few minutes to describe the progress we’ve made and share our plans for the future. This is the first of our regular investor updates that will be shared monthly.

We are on track to start providing access to ICNX trading features to the next round of pre-registered beta testers by the end of February 2017.

Digital Assets Management Platform has undergone extensive testing ever since its launch in December 2016, with our whole team tirelessly working to perfect the platform for the public launch. There are currently 10 test users operating with ICNX, which is at the moment worth around 30k USD. Despite the fact that our core platform was ready by late December, we decided to delay the public launch. There were two key reasons for that decision.

The first reason for this was user experience that did not meet our standards. With initial UX designs geared towards the eventual full-featured platform, the experience of buying and selling ICNX was simply too complex. We believe that our product manager and user experience expert have solved this issue, which means that we can deliver a seamless and enjoyable ICNX trading experience.

The second reason is the current state of digital asset liquidity. We realised this during the late stages of ICNX development. If we did not implement any safeguards, it would be extremely easy for ICONOMI digital asset arrays to substantially affect the price of digital assets, leading to loss of value and opening the door for potential abuse. This is partially solved by instituting liquidity thresholds for asset inclusion in ICNX and imposing dynamic buying limits based on current market situation. However, with funds like Blue Magic Capital, an up and coming hedge fund on the ICONOMI platform, including digital assets with less than $5,000 daily volume, we realised that a much more robust and automated system would have to be developed. We have started working on this challenge, but there is a lot of work ahead of us. If you are a data scientist interested in solving this kind of problem, get in touch with us!

I would also like to update you on other ICONOMI activities. While the developers are a crucial part of the team, almost half of the ICONOMI team are not developers and work on tasks like business development, investment evaluation, ICO mentoring, customer acquisition strategy, customer support and legal affairs.

We are actively looking for investments for the ICONOMI.performance. Until now we have acquired assets in Golem, Byteball and today Santiment. In front of us there is an intensive investment period.

A solid relationship with the crypto ecosystem is crucial for our business to grow, which is why we presented ICONOMI at Ethereum Developers Community in the San Francisco Bay Area on 7th February we spoke at The Blockchain Event in Fort Lauderdale on 9th, and we will be at the Ethereum meetup in Vienna on 14th, EDCON Paris on 17th and 18th February, and the Cryptoinvestors meetup in Munich, Germany on 7th March.

I just think if the santiment is under iconomi, because the maximum threshold by sentiment is $120 000 and i think iconomi already bought a half of the total shares of sentiment. And sentiment is the project based on the trading analyze. it's really promising.
