Is it possible for mods to nuke entire threads?
If a users post is deleted, does their post count get reduced?

^^If yes and yes then:

Why not start nuking the biggest most obvious sig spam threads to discourage meaningless posts, even the ones that are 2 complete sentences.
This one has over 3,000 replies: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life?
I bet it would set a few farmers back quite a bit if you just nuked the 5 most obvious farm threads in gambling section.

Different issue I feel.
Why not tackle farmers head on. All farmed posts by their very nature are worthless.
If these accounts were removed other actions, such as you suggest, might then have a value.

If I have linked all these accounts as farmed, how can anyone say any has value.
Who would want to talk to a farmed account if they knew? Only other farmed accounts.

If Theymos banned all accounts shown here, by declaring them worthless spam maybe, that would send out a clear message.
He clearly does not want to send that message, yet.

but to genuine members it's the participation and information that counts more than a fast progression through the ranks, and they would have to make better quality posts to achieve that too.

However, in light of this evidence I feel Theymos must respond now. (he knew all this already, unless i'm cleverer than him? i got no tools)
I feel this is game changing. My list covers (not properly) just 9 days. What about all the days I have not seen yet.
Btw, while compiling my lists, I came across only a handful of real and still active members.

I do not want to partake in a forum full of mass farmed accounts.
Something could easily be done here. Someone needs to get a grip.
If theymos had shown this and banned all for spamming, no one would have batted an eyelid, probably.
This can only get worse if it is not stopped. The mods have lost control. Unless they are the farmer? (no rizz, stop it...)

Why do I get the feeling Theymos would rather farmed accounts here than me, or other real members?

You need a lot of input to identify these accounts. Input we are not easily, or at all, privvy to

Excel could probably handle it but it would take me a long time to key the values in

A lot in my lists are only quietly ranking up. No sig. Not even on Danny's list.
Then they are ripe for sale, or holding for sig spamming farms.

This is playing the long game. These are 10 month old accounts.
There must be other farmed accounts before, and certainly since?
I can't find them. That for me is like looking for the next block. impossible. But theymos could look. And must have already looked.
(I don't have Theymos's tools at my disposal  )

I hope SMAS will start looking at this. (he says doubtfully)
These accounts are stealing real peoples opportunities of enrolling in sig campaigns, and destroying real discussion in the process.
Maybe the campaign managers like it like this for some reason?  (stop it rizz...)

I find it hard to believe Theymos and the mods and the sig managers would let the farmer waltz in and take all the bitcoin unchallenged!

I have a problem with Danny Hamilton's list, because I'm on it (lol).  I think it's too inclusive because it doesn't discriminate other than to exclude people with signatures, and not all people with sigs are spammers.  A ton of Yobit posters are spammers, and at one point I was adding them to my ignore list in bulk, but not all of them are worthy of an ignore.

I guess you could use the list and un-ignore users as needed, but that would be a pain in the ass methinks.

I think I figured out a pretty efficient way to do this with import.io

I programmed an "extractor" to get username, post count, registered date and last active.

Should have 8,000 users with the last one u=264049 in another 10-15 minutes.  (Takes about 4 min per 1,000 )

I just randomly picked that range of users, let me know of any requests.
