Doge pretty much ruined crypto.. simple enough ?

Simple.. it triggered a super tsunami of cloning that got out of control.
It set a bad precedent that others still to this day try and emulate / copy.

I think the fact it is merge mined with LTC is useful to it. Howevever would be good to slow down and taper off more. It is producing and has produced a lot of coins. Perhaps too many.

Dogecoin was fun and the community was pretty good. But it was a fad. Not much to expect from it in the future IMO.

its really a good time to chase the bottom and wait until the price rebound knowing that there's no impossible inside crypto would make this coin alive and kicking, as of now i seen no good movement but the value can be a good timing to buy little by little hold and then wait for another hype. even its showed weak point this project won't easily die for sure.

Doge is very useful now because it is very cheap to send, it has a low value so is easy to work out how many doge to send rather than having to work out decimal places in Bitcoin and it is stable. This makes it very useful and similar to litecoin I think it will stay a popular altcoin.

Merge mining saved doge. It was front loaded in that most of the coins were issued at the start. Very few coins are now added to the supply now, so it is not worth mining it on it's own, but makes sense to merge mine it with ltc, you get some bonus doge coins for your effort.

The problem of DOGE is not its distribution but rather infinite supply. This feature is killing Doge's potential for holding or long time investment with this coin.
All we see over the years is slight decline of Doge, this coins is slowly but surely is slipping down from the top.

The last time this happened I knew it was a good time to buy and it shot up to 60 before settling on around 40 for a very long time. Doge has always been worth 30-45 satoshi. This time though I'm very unsure what is going to happen.

The doge community took a hit when the whole moolah scam thing came out, and they're pretty depressed and are no longer doing things like sponsoring jamaican bob sled teams etc. The price is a reflection of the community.

in the long term (as it was true up until now) yes Dogecoin is dying and there is a pretty obvious reason for it also. and that is Dogecoin's massive supply which is 106 billion coins, the supply dump alone is going to kill it in the long run.

but nobody can stop a pump as it will happen from time to time. but it becomes risky.

Of course DOGE is one of the stablest and famous alt-coin, with also a good community behind! Remember Nascar sponsorship and so .....
Probably with LTC ETH and DASH is one of the top coins that you can exchange directly for "real" cash (euro, dollar)...

But with an infinite supply there is the inflation to be counted in.
So If you have 100.000 coins (0,xx%) , every year you lost a portion of this value (due the inflation) (0,xx % change to a < percentage).
like fiat currency more you print, the "total" value will be the same, so the value of single unit decreasing .

I think the price could be stable for a couple of year around 20-60 satoshi. With a medium value behind 30 satoshi.

Yes it's a coin that has some good pump in the last months/ years but now (my 5 cents) seems "sleeping" or probably just "unfashionable"
