Nice project here.
I've posted my vote above. I chose the third option. because I think 1 billion coins are really too much for sirculation at the begging. 100 million is also a lot but it is still better.

What do we do with tokens?
As an example: Ether, the coin of Ethereum is a token. It is the fuel that runs the Ethereum network. This is in addition to all the functions that it shares with traditional cryptos like Bitcoin. |

84k invested in the Quintessence ICO. I see the signature campaign has also been improved. I voted for option number 3 in the poll which appears to be the popular consensus.
If option 3 becomes the template, I would suggest restarting the ICO with the same payout structure and applying the 30% bonus to all that have invested so far as well as those that participate in the restarted Day 1. I don't think the original start had the effect that was intended and perhaps the new parameters (if they are selected) in accordance with a more effective signature campaign could help to make this project take off.
Just my opinion, I really want to see Quintessence happen!

Changing initial money offer to approximately 100 million SPK is not a big change; it is still compatible with current White Papers/proposition setup. What would be an issue however is CBX/SPK convertability; who would keep CBX for staking and earning 8-12% when they can switch to SPK and earn 30%-45% once 15% inflation PoSP is applied to SPK. People would send all their CBX to SPK, and we want to keep CBX as the investment leg of the Quintessence Neighborhood. Yes, resetting the ICO is a possibility that has to be examined, since in this case we would be changing the offer. The Quintessence Signature campaign initially was not rewarding enough to entice many people into participating, so we increased the payout. At current much higher levels (and still not much participation), CBX sig campaign is costing us 550 CBX per week, however. Some competing signature campaigns are investing huge amounts in this and I don't know how they plan to recoup this investment but this is what we have to live with. Just my opinion, I really want to see Quintessence happen!
That's exactly what this thread is for - we put our ideas together and see how we can improve things... |

Immediately got verification e-mail.
Did finished the prosses to activate my account. And tried to log-in.
But unfortunately the website telling me your account not activate yet!

High PoSP interest for SPK would not necessarily mean people would trade out CBX. As we know, high PoS rewards = high inflation - it is a trade off. High inflationary currency encourages spending as holding it is not suggested because every day the value is diluted. CBX would continue to serve the function of being a very low inflation storage of wealth and SPK would attract the traders and stakers that want to take advantage of the high inflation of the early years of the project. I think it is a good idea. |
