i am sure that bitcoin can help poor people but not sure about this that either it can help poor countries or not. i think it depend on their policy if they allow their people to use bitcoin and their people become rich in bitcoin atumatically it will help their country to develop
I think there is no obstacle to using bitcoin. even though their countries prohibit the use of bitcoin. but it will not hamper they to use of bitcoin for them

Can Bitcoin or any other altcoin help poor countries? how? what can be done?
In my own view, bitcoin could somewhat help or solve poverty on a certain country i guess because its possible for them to earn decent amount especially if bitcoins exchanges would be high and enough to their standard of living but it doesnt mean that it would completely help a certain country to raise of develop its economy by the help of bitcoin.

Personally, i like your question, New thinking. Bitcoin is a new way of earning and also it is easily, most of the educated people can do it, and also it is a source of income for especially those people who are jobless. But it doesn't mean that bitcoin is helpful for poor countries, But the same way it is really helpful for poor people if they know about bitcoin and Altcoin.

I do think Bitcoin could be really benificial to people in poor countries, heck even the payouts from sig campaigns might be enough for some people to maintain a higher standard of living.

Yeah, the limitations of the facilities is a major obstacle in providing knowledge of the bitcoin to poor people. But I think, if we could raise funds to help poor countries and provide knowledge to some of the bitcoin citizens and also amenities for sure it will be a good thing. All this can not be done, without the help of all of us to provide the facilities needed

Bitcoins can't do nothing to help poor countries. I guess bitcoins can help to some educated individuals from poor country, but not to all people from there. Even here things are not equal, some people earn a lot and with that earning they will invest and make higher profit then others. It is capitalism, and there is no cure for it. Personally I would like to see communist again at least there wasn't such big difference in salaries. In my country 30 years ago the highest salary could be just 7 times more then lowest. Today in capitalism difference between lowest and highest can be 200 times. That is just crazy, and while some people get rich other are fighting for food.
Sorry but nobody can help to this poor countries, rich and modern countries are earning on them and taking their precious metal's and healthy smart kids and taking them to rich countries. Sorry my friends, it's the system.

Bitcoin is not like a gold mine where poor countries will go mining and say 'huraa!!' we got wealth. Bitcoin depends on technology which is a challenge to most poor countries. Therefore, I don't believe in your notion that bitcoin will help poor countries.
I think it's possible. you can see how bitcoin can help someone out of their financial problems. and I think if a country has a large number of bitcoin users and many of them earn big profits from bitcoin. then it might be helping the country

I don't know why people have this thoughts about bitcoin, it's not something magical that can cure aids, cancer, stop wars... It's just like any other money, it's just decentralized, has lower fees and does not require banks. Maybe something like, if the goverment invests into mining, it can get some profit from selling those BTC. I don't see any other, right now, that can help them out.

One thing the most people at poor countries doesnt have acess to internet, they have to choose to eat or to get internet, they dont know bitcoin, and dont know they can earn it for free ways. If they know and start earn bitcoins i do believe would be enought for they pay the internet and keep a bit to their daily basics, for some maybe the signatures could become their work, as i had read there are people surviving with 1 dollar daily.

it might be a useful way to earn money for the citizens of these countries since the BTC world is filled with earning opportunities, it also can help countries under economical restrictions since this is an open-source currency and every country can get it and send transactions with it.

I agree with you. It could not end the poverty of that country but it could really help people from atleast having an income if they are jobless. Since bitcoin can be done everywhere then everyone could make a living out of it. People from different places, different culture, or different race could make an extra income provided that they have the equipment.

It is true as the fiat currency conversion value to the lower country is high, so they can earn for living from the signature campaign itself, for a small normal family, In my country i cannot use bitcoin in any stores so when i convert it to my fiat currency it is really paying me the one week salary apart from my real life job, so it is really helping the peoples of poor country.

bitcoin can help poor countries. people dont get equal opportunities in poor countries to earn. the rich grabs most earning options. but bitcoin gives equal opportunities to everyone thereby making money to flow to all sections of people.

I don't understand your question , but I can say that Bitcoin really helps people in some poor countries , whereas Bitcoin provide a payment method for those people , because other banks restrict these countries , therefore , the people who want to work on the internet won't find a payment method and online bank better than Bitcoin .

Yes, I believe it can bank the unbanked. Small merchants in poor countries can easily accept bitcoin if it becomes more mainstream and easier to use for the average person. In a few countries it is illegal for women to have bank accounts, hopefully they can use bitcoin.
