Wow! Very nice graphics rnr!

Yes they do a great job and are very enthusiastic. But isn't that a little risky, if a big amount of notary nodes is in the hand of only 2 people?
Maybe I am overanxious because I don't know all the facts and numbers...
How much power do they have after election?

Official rules, 4 nodes max per candidate. We backup each other, but both of us are independent. Together we are able to work more efficient (just one example: our common campaign has additional value for the whole project) in the interest of Komodo. In case one of us (or both of course) are unreliable or some other bad things happen the other operators are able to "kick" us out.

EDIT: The electorates need to vote for rnr OR kolo! In the elections we are two separate node operators. And there´s no way to vote for both of us in the same region in the same time/with the same ICO account.

Hi

I'm a technician 14 years ago

I am in the world of cryptocurrencies since 2012 with my first FPGAs and GPUs. After I invested in Swedish ASIC. Until I get tired a little of the arms race.

If we want world adoption we need worldwide network. Diversity in the locations , will offer better service around the world.

In the region that Im elected I will actively participate to resolve doubts or help in whatever is needed.  Not 24/7 Im not komodo team member

I will advertise (signature profile etc..) the project by crypto forums of that region. Translated by natives of those countries.I will not spend money. Spend my time is value too

If I am elected in 2 or more regions. As soon as DEX is operative I will send messages  everyday 4-5 times at trollbox of 40 exchanges with more volume. https://www.cryptocoincharts.info/markets/info

In addition if I am elected in the 4 regions I will mount an LP Node in Asia, without charge to the platform. To give liquidity to DEX.  This region has more than half of the world's population with internet access and at most will have 13 notary nodes.

I am very interested in the project and move on.

I deploy 4  high performance Nodes .I have participated in all ratify, my nodes are part of the first 35 notaries.
Mined near to 50000 KMDS . +2000 notarization.
AE Node Russia Briansk (notarization)
https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/address/171ERtCXZha6huG6CneqqXBbNhng57Dnb6/transactions
EU Node Spain Barcelona (notarization)
https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/address/1KerrCALfkMD4KyPrkkzdgqjaNRSSpCvgX/transactions
NA Node USA Kansas City (notarization)
https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/address/1GNidEB31ZYUB5LTCmU4R8f1sMJHoEXJRV/transactions
SH Node South Africa Johannesburg (notarization)
https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/address/1B5ZUUjUXt4MkBUQNgqTzf5S52cMZPVNb/transactions
These nodes are  online 24/7. Joined to testnet first days. Updated 2 times a day.

I dont use obsolete & cheap hardware. My oldest hardware since 2014.

Nodes are datacenter tier 3 less than 2 hours degraded service annual & tier 4  less than 1 hours degraded service annual

2 of these nodes have a 1Gbit WAN bandwidth unmetered they Are  SeedNotary . These will hardly be saturated by downloads or conections.

My nodes aren't located in the same cities as the majority at cheapest providers .

If we want an equal service for anyone in the world. (Latency, download, etc ...). We need a balanced network. A network with high percentage of its nodes in the same cities, isn't balanced.

In case one of us (or both of course) are unreliable or some other bad things happen the other operators are able to "kick" us out.

The role of the notary node is not fully understood. We had some lengthy discussions about this in our Slack. We are looking to fix this situation in the near future.

Basically 51+% notary node collusion is not the same as 51% mining attack. If all notary nodes all of the sudden want to destroy Komodo, the best they can do is stop notarizing into Bitcoin blockchain. They cannot create invalid transactions or double spends.

We will explain this in more length in an article.

~2 weeks

We won't delay the ending time because of 5 hour delay. No worries!

Hello,  Komodo voters!   I am Polycryptoblog,  running  as a candidate for a North America notary node!

I am an admin assistant at Komodo and help with various tasks around the project  including building and running KomodoElection.com !

I have been helping with the test net   since mid-October  and have been frequently a part of the notarization efforts to BTC blockchain  with over 700 notarizations and more than 8k KMD mined on my single node.

I am running for a single spot in the North America geolocation as a native of this region.

I believe that in addition to providing a safe and secure network for Komodo to prosper under Notary Node operators are the first-line of advocates for the project and have a duty to market Komodo.

Here are 5 reasons why you should elect me as a North America Notary Node!

Maybe I am overanxious because I don't know all the facts and numbers... or just don't understand them... sorry...
How much power do they have after election?
The notary nodes get to do most of the mining for new coins....there will be a fraction for everyone else to mine. Just gotta read the fine print

In order to do the REVS snapshot, I decided to just implement a dividends API for iguana. There are now 2 new API calls "snapshot" and "dividends". "snapshot" is passed in the symbol of the coin and the height for the snapshot, the height must be a multiple of bundle size and the utxoaddrs.<height> file must already exist in the DB/<symbol> folder. It will if you have been maintaining a coin in RT mode. The snapshot API just returns a complete set of { "address", <amount> } in an array

The dividends API uses internally the snapshot API. it also specifies symbol and height, but there is also a "vals" object, which specifies how to process the snapshot array:

"exclude":[] is an array of addresses to exclude from the dividends processing
"dust":<float> is the smallest amount of dividend that will be sent,it is not the address balance, but rather the calculated dividend amount. Set "dust":0 to send dividends for any non-zero value.
"dividend":<float> is the total amount that is allocated across all the non-excluded addresses. Using this value and the total of address balances of non-excluded addresses allows a ratio to be calculated. This ratio is applied to the address balances to calculate the dividend amount for each address. If it is less than or equal to the dust amount, it wont be sent. If "dividend" is 0, then it means to use a 1:1 ratio
"prefix" and "suffix" are arbitrary strings that are used to construct the action line: <prefix> <address> <amount> <suffix>. prefix/suffix is just the simplest way I came up with to do the REVS snapshot, I can see a need for a more flexible template for the action line, but I prefer to do such things on an as needed basis.
"system":1 will invoke the action line in a system call

Putting it all together:
curl --url "http://127.0.0.1:7778" --data "{\"agent\":\"iguana\",\"method\":\"dividends\",\"height\":1486000,\"symbol\":\"BTCD\",\"vals\":{\"exclude\":[\"RXL3YXG2ceaB6C5hfJcN4fvmLH2C34knhA\"],\"dust\":0,\"dividend\":0,\"system\":0,\"prefix\":\"fiat/revs sendtoaddress\",\"suffix\":\"\"}}"

The above displays the sendtoaddress lines that would be invoked for the REVS snapshot.

What does this mean?
It means that iguana can now issue dividends in any currency (literally) that can run on your system and base the allocation on any iguana supported coin. With clever use of the prefix/suffix commands, maybe even non-dividend actions can be done based on stake of any iguana supported coin

kolo and rnr – Together we are Team Komodo Ninja!

We backup each other, but both of us are independent candidates and node operators.

Together we are able to work more efficient (e.g., our common value-added services during our common campaign has additional value for the whole project) in the best interest of Komodo.

See hereto:

What sets us apart? Each of us stays for a professional business manner and supports the Komodo Platform/SuperNET Technologies & community for the profit of the BitcoinDark (BTCD) and Komodo (KMD) investors! What we have in mind you can read in the provided posts above.

How to vote? If you want to vote for Komodo Ninja than you need to choose one of us (1of2kolo OR rnr) in each region:

Europe

North America

Asia & Russia

Southern Hemisphere

In the elections we are two separate node operators. And there´s no way to vote for both of us in the same region in the same time/with the same ICO account. Choose wisely.

All our testnet node activities (mined KMD and notarized tx) are able to check (blockexplorer links) at our Komodo Notary Nodes Elections profiles:

Our value-added services, provided for the Komodo community:

We hope that our vision is up to your expectations.

Thanks for your support!
