A better alternative to changelly without kyc is coinswitch, but only good for small trades. Eventually crypto users will realise the dangers of having given their personal data to unknown third parties who can then track your wallet balances and target you in the real world. A few more high profile crypto robberies and people will come looking for secure ways to trade crypto without compromising their safety, and BarterDEX should be much more user friendly by then.

Can someone give an overview of what is happening in the komodo community (here is my attempt): Hyperdex is being finished up (not sure of release date), coincollect will be using barterdex as a backend (seems they will be accepting fiat), chainzilla is developing an awesome exodus alternative (using agama backend), komodo will surpass other projects on TPS, etomic allows for ethereum tokens on barterdex. What am I missing? Too much is going on with this project (which is a good thing).

Other chains are reaching out to use DPoW to protect against attacks,  first batch of smart contracts released( dice, token, reward )MoMoM / CC will eventually allow for cross chain contracts.  More integrations with cryptoproducts like ATMs and voucher systems.

Ledger will have to update their wallets, you won't have to do a thing. Unfortunately there is still no easy way to redeem interest using the Ledger wallets as fas as I'm concerned.

I'm actually looking at the markets currently, only about 25% of coins are in the green for 24hr%..and they're all way way down over last 90 to 120 days...kmd is actually in the top 30% for retained value during the bear market. Sooo..as I mentioned, uninformed opinion that's negative = f ud, no?

The dev team is one of the strongest in the blockchain industry.
They have nearly solved all the persisting issues such as 51% attack resistance, scalability (soon infinite), inter-ledger atomic swaps, working DEX, crypto conditions (arbitrary features possible...such as eth smart contracts, BTC schnorr, etc - limited to your imagination), multi-sig wallet with 5.1% interest, list goes on and on.

The only reason you did not hear about it before is that, while other markets were concentrating on marketing, KMD did some hard-to-catch-up core developments.
