There could be more developers working on the different parts of the project for a faster development pace.

If you are not a tech geek and drink the kmd kool-aid, move on from this project because the people that sit behind a keyboard with warrior fingers will make you feel like a fool. no wonder real money is going into other projects.

What exactly do you mean by better? Each of the two projects has its strengths so you should specify what you mean exactly.  Both projects also have a different architecture and Komodo can be regarded as a privacy coin, whereas Qtum is not.
