Hi, I've created a website to check & submit GPU & CPU benchmarks, as a XMR miner & newcomer (+1.5 month), I haven't found a source like this except a couple of google docs but they are outdated. So It'd be really helpful to community to count on this.

http://monerobechmarks.byethost5.com/

If you are miner, feel free to submit your bechmarks (I have already received a couple, THANKS! Cool)  and they will be added (data is updated & checked twice a day). Any suggestion and feedback is welcome.

This project started here: https://redd.it/4z3z41

Edit 14/09/2016

Thanks to everyone, 40 Benchmarks total (26 GPU + 14 CPU)!

Keep submitting your benchmarks here:

CPU: http://monerobechmarks.byethost5.com/submitCPU.php
GPU: http://monerobechmarks.byethost5.com/submitGPU.php

Excellent. I was looking for a website like this. I'm sure is helping a lot of people.

It would be incredible if you could make a website with different algorithms and the hashrates for each card for every algo.

Great thing you did there!

BTW, Someone submitted a RX 470 bench that will not be added to frontpage. Nicehash Miner was indicated as app, and as far as I know there is no support for XMR algorytm on AMD GPU.

Please check, before submit.

First post! Hi there chaps.

Gained an interest in mining at a rapid pace this passed week. Feeding my brain with as much info as possible. Wink

Running some CPU miners to get all the know-how. Compiled a whole bunch of CPU & GPU miners, both release and development versions. Even went for different checkouts, merged some different tree's and idea's i had to try out some things. Last but not least, put up some monero daemons (nodes) on a couple of servers i manage, to support the cause. Grin

Will be building a 4x or 6x GPU-rig (free power) for a friend of mine and gathered all de requirements for it, except choosing the right GPU, which lead me here a couple of days back.

Thanks for setting up a proper website @herrdrone! Sick and tired of those crappy google docs! I would love to help out if the code suits me and your willing to put it on github. Which language/framework are u using if i may ask? Can cook up something else, there are some great tools available to get quick results.

Finally, here's some hashrate info for the miners i run atm;

CPU: Intel Core i5 3230M
Threads: 4
Hashrate: 51.57 H/s
Miner: Wolf's CPUMiner
OS: Win 10 64bit

CPU: Intel Core2Quad Q9450 (NO AES-NI)
Threads: 4
Hashrate: 58 H/s
Miner: Claymore CryptoNote CPU Miner v3.5 Beta
OS: Win 10 64bit

CPU: Intel Xeon D-1520
Threads: 3
Hashrate: 82.52 H/s
Miner: Wolf's CPUMiner
OS: Debian 8.6 (jessie) 64bit

CPU: Intel Core i7 2600K @ 4.5Ghz
Threads: 4
Hashrate: 195.16 H/s
Miner: Wolf's CPUMiner
OS: Win 10 64bit

CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2687W x 2
Threads: 20
Hashrate: 897.63 H/s
Miner: Wolf's CPUMiner
OS: Ubuntu 14.04 64bit

All are added as a service, background/idle process-priority and are regularly under some load. The miners itself are natively compiled on the system (except for Claymore ofc).

Interesting note though, that last one, is a server i rent @ OVH. While it is still at Ubuntu 14.04, it's packages are all up-to-date, but i suddenly noticed the kernel didn't have any updates since it's install.
Updating or manually installing a linux-image-* packages didn't work, it kept using the old kernel. Seems OVH supplies a customized kernel on install, which has to be forced 'out of the way' before a different one is selected. Personally went from '3.10.9-xxxx-std-ipv6-64' to '4.4.0-38-generic'.

It actually gave me a boost of at least +/-100-150 H/s.
Here's more info on OVH kernel updating

Hi, glad you enjoy the website  Cool.

As much as i can tell you, it is placed on a free hosting plan, So I did it as simple as possible (PHP+MYSQL), it is built in a framework-like structure as I reused some scripts I already had (around 2 years without building a website). If I get some free time (I've been really busy lately) I can upload the skeleton to github.

Also, I appreciate the time you took to submit your benchs & add configuration details, that'll be really useful to everyone. I already added them to website.

Keep mining Smiley

We really need to add the consumption (TDP). This is as important as the hashrate.

I just submitted hash for gtx 660 on your site Smiley

Here's a cpu :

i5-2500k @ 3.30 Ghz - 3 threads - 150 H/S
Cpuminer opt 3.4.7
Win7 x64

Miner reports it's 3.3ghz but really is OC-ed and is 4.3Ghz, don't know does this matter  Grin

Edit:
I found a INTEL I5-2400 @ 3.1 GHZ on your site stating 170 H/S. Well i don't really know about that if my OC-ed i5 4.3 gives 150, how could a weaker cpu give more H/s...

Agree!

However, lastest benchmarks have improved with more details added: core/memory frequency, overclocking, etc.

Thanks, both benchmarks added!

I did a quick review about that benchmark, and It was posted by Joblo on this thread.

As far as I know, a custom linux kernel & custom flashed BIOS allow to tweak hardware to its fullest.
