Yeah i think this also, it's easy to cheat in chess game, so If your not professional player in chess it's better to stay away in that.  But if your pro you can match those people who use bot to win the game.

How do we know that the OP is not going to do exactly the same? On the other hand, someone like Vladimir Kramnik or Vishy Anand could easily make fools of these bots and people behind them, if he ever wanted to, of course.

Let's face it. People with professional Chess background represent maybe 0.0001% of population probably less. 99.999% of other people would be easily crushed by good chess program.
You can't create service where only top of the tops pro prayers could play and win with Chess bots.
When money is on the line people will cheat for sure. So this is a reason we don't have now, and won't have in the future any pvp chess platform where you can win money.

I tend to disagree. If all parties cheat by using bots, what difference does it make then? And if someone's highly advanced chess program running on a top-notch hardware nevertheless loses miserably to a grandmaster in disguise, what could be wrong with that? In other words, it is still the same game of chess and the same set of rules, and someone (or something) has to lose in the end (deliberately discarding a possible draw here).

As of now never seen any site that has chess game or well known site that has chess.. but i hope maybe other gambling devs there can make a game like that so that pro in chess can use their skill in that game.. PVP is one of the good if someone can put a game and we only pay for fee for every battle..

Was it partypoker that attempted this with backgammon or another site? They had backgammon on T.v like poker to attempt to spread it to the masses and it never took off.
Poker was just starting to get scrutinized for cheating and backgammon optics did not fair well under the look of most players just being bots making the best move.
Imagine chess would face the same dilemma and death if it was ever to get going anywhere.
I play on chess.com and enjoy that but would not venture down the playing for money rabbit hole for many reasons already mentioned.

Searching "chess bot" on google give many suggestions, and there even is a chrome extension that will help you decide on the smartest next move. For these reasons, I doubt that there will ever be a chess game for bitcoins.

As a chess player i think this would be nice where you can bet your btc that would really depend on your own skill. Calibration i think is necessary to avoid mismatches. and i dont think there is a bot like cheats in playing chess. if possible it can search for real players not bots.

I am not great at chess but this could be a great idea for someone to develop one
that does all types of games. I know I would play Backgammon for bitcoin and if it
kept track of your score (win/loss) that would be good also like yahoo does so you only
play people of your same ranking etc.

But would you risk your coins if you had to play against a human which is a way smarter than you, making it highly unlikely that you will ever win? And how do you know the strength of your opponent if you have to choose blindly? On the other hand, if you yourself are gifted (well, maybe no so gifted as Magnus Carlsen) up to a point where you make matchwood of the majority of chess bots in existence today, wouldn't you want to play against them, even if exclusively for money?

A few have tried but they all eventually close. At least from the ones I saw around here. I think the problem is always the same. They can't guarantee a player won't simulate the game at home with a bot, and that would be unfair and it does not inspire trust for the users to risk money on it.
I really don't think a online chess game for money will succeed because of that.

I don't find any bitcoin chess site, but bitocin poker sites are many. Chess is not pupular like 10-20 years ago, people like gambling or card games, not chess

Its very difficult to find a chess game with real player and that too paying bitcoin. Even real players poker rooms are hard to find mostly is video poker on every gambling site some goes with chess even if you find a chess game paying bitcoin its likely it will be a bot.

Not even the best players would be able to win against the top chess algorithms. Stockfish (the newest one) has an estimated elo of 3447. Do you know what the world champion's elo is? 2857. Plus, the computers will analyze everything faster and more perfectly than any player (apart from memorization patterns)

I have a solution. Each game gets moderated and the moderated are rewarded too. So you can play to mine or moderate to mine. Like an curator sort of. That way people can't cheat so easily. But the thing is how would one disproved an accusation of cheating or not cheating ? That is the problem I have no solution to.

I have heard few students have made ethereum smart contract based chess games don't know whether its p2p or p2bot one. But i think that can be coded to have p2p and bitcoin or ethereum in bet.
