When did you begin using Bitcoin?

I have started using bitcoin way back 2013 but what I meant in using is not literally using it, just creating a wallet then doing faucets. After weeks of claiming bitcoin through faucets, I had enough of it since it was really really low. I quit bitcoin that time. I only started using bitcoin again way back november 2015 when I started to look for a thing to do besides the things that I do daily, more of a like of a hobby, then found that using bitcoin can be fun so I started using it again and learned many things about it since then.

As for me, I started using Bitcoin before the Bitcoin bubble and when the price was around 70 USD per coin. By "started", I mean I create my first Bitcoin wallet and go around filling in Captcha to get some free Bitcoin. I stopped because the "salary" from faucets is too low to keep my interest. I came back in 2014 during the down-fall of Bitcoin bubble (around 600 USD) and learnt about signature campaign. From there on, I continue as a loyal Bitcoiner despite the price dropping below 200 USD and then come back to 700 USD today rates.

You really witness the history of bitcoin, you must receive a reward for your loyalty. If I were in the time you know bitcoin, maybe I will be a millionaire now because I am willing to take risk and buy those cheap price, it has only proven that bitcoin is a strong asset as after the fall down it rises again.

I actually already aware on bitcoins existence since 2009 but i didnt put any attention into it and somehow give me frustrations until now because if i engage into bitcoin on that particular time maybe im also a millionaire now same as your aims too. I do believe that bitcoins is an another scam scheme thats why i didnt put any attention into it. year 2014 when i begin again to jump to bitcoin and realized that im already too late.

I started using bitcoin around 2015 but my wife she knew about it since 2011 and she is kicking herself for nob buying a few hundred when it was worth only one dollar a bit. She can never get over that fact and it's hurt her hard thinking about it. I told her not to worry.

I first knew about bitcoin back in 2009 from the news and since then i wanted to know more about it so i started searching but back then there was not many ways to earn btc so i quit and came back in 2014 when a friend talked about it and he mentioned that it was about 500$ which was very surprising for me because when i quit bitcoin it was about 100$ worth

i started using bitcoins from 2012 before their price was 750$. I have seen bitcoin price rise and fall since. The best fact about bitcoin is its volatility and anonymity. I have suggested many friends to use bitcoins. I hope every government approves bitcoins.

I don't really mind your overall conclusion, because there is likely some truth to your overall conclusions, but I doubt that the poll data is a very reliable indicator of such conclusion, because there could be other explanations why old timers may not be participating in this thread or the forum generally... and conversely.

At start, I searched ways on how to get bitcoins for free and I found faucets which newbies really do. I spent time maybe a week until I have been redirected here in the forum. This year is a blessing for me because it teach me how to make real money online that I waited for so long.
Talking about the poll, maybe those pioneers just ignore this thread, it proves that newbies in btc are more active in this thread.

It is true. Poll is not reliable for concluding the total users that exposed to bitcoin. To make it easier to conclude. Just go to the list of all members on the forum and get the total user that registered. In that way you will have huge source of data and that is reliable rather doing a poll here because not all users are interested ans see this poll. And considering that all the farm accounts will be representing those bitcoin users that didn't know this forum.

I was introduced to Bitcoin long before like around 2012 - 2013 but then i did not noticed seriously and left it until in 2014 3rd quarter i was in trouble due to financial problem that time i full fledge started to use Bitcoin from faucet and purchased some and played gambling and earned, then one of my friend told me about this forum and then my daily earning journey started and now i am full fledged doing my work in bitcoin industry.
