I think that banks are going to see this that because of bitcoin they are going to have another services offered. Bitcoin and some of the other alt coins have become the best digital currency because of the fast transactions. There are some country wherein you can order Foods using your Bitcoin already. Some can use Bitcoin to pay for their bills , enrollment and a lot more. Maybe in the future people can invent other things that can be use with Bitcoin.

yeah you are right with more and more usage might be possible but it needs more and more adoption before we can say that.

I'm not sure that it's so much bitcoin itself that is the new era of currency, but the concept of cryptocurrency I believe will win out over fiat eventually. Whether it's bitcoin itself, a different coin, or a collection of coins that will win out in the end is anyone's guess.

we all wish that to happen in the future and to be fair there have been a lot of progress too in the past years if you compare the number of bitcoin users, the number of transactions each day and also the number of services and merchants that are dealing with bitcoin. you can see there has been a lot of improvement.

so i guess it is safe to assume in the future bitcoin will become the "Internet Money" eventually and push aside all other forms of online payments.

I think slowly and slowly more and more people are aware of digital currencies and now the world is turning more mobile they will be used by more and more people around the world for their convenience and cheap transaction costs. I think we are redefining money at this point that's for sure.

This would also mean crowding out online payments made with fiat through internet-banking, which could (and should) be considered as an online payment method as well. But that would hardly happen in the nearest future (or at all). If you mean only smaller payment processors like PayPal, Skrill, Payeer, and the likes of such, then Bitcoin may have already pushed them aside (to a certain degree). Though these are small fish, anyway...

Well its a sort of new world of the currency's, I think that we can see it as a next level currency, everything will be fully digital in the future.
