I don't think earning bitcoin is as easy as you have stated. But this is true that these days bitcoin can be used in almost everywhere including many supermarkets to hotdog shops. Even we can book flights with bitcoin, on the other hand with bitcoin debit cards even in the places where bitcoin is not accepted directly we can pay there with those bitcoin cards easily.

I'm afraid that the answer is no. The point of bitcoin is to invest in them by buying them and then selling them for more. The fact that anyone with a good computer can mine them makes the currency not controlled by any government.  That leads to banks and even countries banning bitcoins so u cant use them there. Also there only 21 million of them so there won't be enough bitcoins for everyone to use. For now, We can't call him as "money". Because we are still exchanging it in fiat. But its goal is to replace our conventional money.
