Hey guys,

I have a problem with staking
There are peepcoins mined, they are generated, but not accepted.
The expected time was 1 day, this has now passed.
They are also not visible in the blockchain.

My wallet runs on a mac system.
Does anyone know this problem and how you can fix it.
Would it be a setting error.
Would be nice that someone can help me.

Best Regards,

Desh

No worries, glad you got it all sorted out.

On another note. I mentioned in PM that my server had 128 Peepcoin peers connected. I subsequently increased the connection limit to 300, but it's still hit the limit; there are now 300 peers connected. I've increased the limit to 1000, let's see if we can hit that. Smiley Around 95% of those connections were initiated from the client to my server, which suggests that clients do not have their ports open to allow inbound connects from other peers.

A few hours later, now at 744 active connections. That's a LOT of open clients!

Edit: A few more hours, now 936. I may have to increase that limit again.

Delete all your chain data and resync from scratch sir, it should be fine. Make sure to leave your wallet.dat, though.

Yep, delete everything *except* wallet.dat and resync.  Smiley

You don't want to delete peepcoin-qt.exe as that's the client software!!!

If you have deleted the executable, you can re-download it here: http://www.almightycoins.org/peepcoin/download/peepcoin-qt.exe

To resync you don't actually need any other data as the client will download the blockchain data from peers, but using a bootstrap may help speed things up. See the "bootstrap" section of the first post in this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1628121.0

https://github.com/DAPScoin/PeepCoin-TheCoinForThePeople/releases/download/v1.0.2.0/peepcoin-qt.exe

Just download and run the wallet file from the Peepcoin repo. The wallet that in this thread's main post (1.0.0) is not open source, is not bug fixed in any way, and is likely to cause desyncs.

https://dapscoin.com/wallets/

If you need a bootstrap and usage guide it's also included here.

Please use the official Peepcoin thread, with updated info, actual support, and an open-source wallet produced.

This is actually the official Peepcoin thread, and the existing Peepcoin network will continue to function once DAPS does their swap and moves on.
