I am particularly interested in point 3. Isn't using Paypal with bitcoins a taboo? Has anyone tried the site?

3. Sell your Bitcoins with a 15% mark-up on xCoins.io

xCoins.io is a site that was launched in June with  positive reviews. The controversy with this site is that it uses Paypal as its payment processor. xCoins is a middle man that connects buyers and sellers with the former who seeks to buy bitcoins with Credit card or Paypal -- at a 15% markup price. The sellers will receive the proceeds in their Paypal account. Many readers are very likely to disapprove this site because it is using Paypal as the main mechanism for fund transfer since Paypal transactions are reversible by scammers.

It is not necessarily "taboo", just illogical. You are mixing two methods of payment, one reversible and the other one not. Especially when charging a 15% Markup.

No one in their right mind will pay almost $100 more for a bitcoin. This will only encourage scams.

I haven't try the site yet. But wander as well is it really works as you say or not. I don't see the reason the site would pay 15% up to your bitcoins, it seems a bit illogical to me. But probably they know that bitcoin will grow even higher soon, that is why they are buying it for such price.

Most PayPal transactions turns out to be a scam, with the transactions being reversed and PayPal taking sides against the Bitcoiners. We have more than enough legitimate services, where people use Escrow to buy and sell bitcoins. The regulated exchanges will never use PayPal payments, because they know it is a scammers paradise. ^hmmmm^

If you want to buy sell with paypals then the best choice (in my opinion) is this forum's exchange service. the site you are talking about may be legit but I never used that. and you can get almost the same discount from this forum too..

LOL.. maybe he tried to promote his own post to get some upvotes. but I don't think it will work for him.. upvotes of this forum users have not value.

I have heard about this xcoins before and also they get promoted before in big bitcoin magazines however dont know how they are still in operation and paypal not banning or limiting their account as i think paypal completely restrict bitcoin related transaction and they are openly providing buying bitcoin with paypal service. I will stay away better to sell in person to person deal from which also you can get higher price than market rate.

I remember Paypal has a 3 month chargeback window period.

Anything can happen within the 3 months and buyer could play punk.

I filed a chargeback with paypal over miningsweden but it was ruled against me because probably i did not do it correctly.

I tried selling BTC for PayPal once before but it was to someone that was trusted through localbitcoins and was for almost no profit for me "and a 1-2% lower rate than the market actually", A website offering PayPal for such rate is sketchy to say the least..

I had experience with selling BTC with PayPal but that was with one trusted seller I know and had previous experience. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend this because of possible chargeback. But of course, there wasn't any word mentioning paying for Bitcoin because PayPal doesn't support that and you might end with your account suspended.

It all depends on what we do and we assure. When we are sure that it can give you an advantage, then I'm sure he got all the things that will give you what he's thinking. This depends on the viewpoints and also how they attempt to do so.

I do not want to try anymore new sites.  It is hard to tell if it is just a trap for another scam site.  Paypal is good because I was able to transfer money or pay someone without fees.  It is just sad that they do not have strict rules on reversing payment.

Well to earn bitcoin you will need patience and will to make money. Making money is not a easy task if requires lot of patience and none of my friends loves that. But now I am helping guy that how to develop patience in mind and control in hands.

To earn bitcoin you can choose trading(highly recommended) , gambling (not at all recommended) , investing(recommended if the site is legit and proof of payment)

To loose bitcoin go to gambling site and lose your money because gambling sites are designed in such a way user will lose more than to earn.

so the solution is hire an escrow and ask him to hold your funds till 3 months.. when the paypal chargeback period end then release the funds to the exchangers. this is the best choice I can consider. other wise dealing with paypal can cause you 100% loose. (unless the buyer is known and trusted person)

In gambling only house will win and you cannot expect any profits in long run, so its better to stay away from it and to grow them I don't see any other better option then trading.

Best way to earn bitcoin is using bitcointalk signature campaign. Many of my friends usages and they earn huge amount another way is to use faucet of various sites and also Google for bitcoin free giveaway. If you have money then invest in trading sites and start trading with various coins.

This just seems to be another one of those advertisements for a website. For profits you can just become a trader on localbitcoins and sell it with a profit to earn some quick money.

If that method worked, the site owner would probably be doing it himself.
