Buying in at $15usd. Watching btc fall to $10. Cut my losses and sold at $8. Watching the fall to $2 and not buying and holding. Watching the coin eventually go passed my initial buy in point of $15usd. I lost quite a bit in that little escapade.

Many moons later......

Seeing btc hit $40. Telling all my family and friends to BUY NOW and hold. Watch what happens. Not taking my own advice. Watching the btc SKYROCKET to $950. And me without a coin Sad

Two huge mistakes. I missed yet another millionaire bubble.

That is tough; I guess you didn't have any cash at the time not to buy any @40$ because you felt strongly about it to tell your family and friends to BUY NOW!!

Did you end up buying at 950$? And hold?
Ouffff, that'd be rough. However it can still rise, but being at 400 now that's gotta sting.

Hearing about Bitcoin in April of 2011., not paying attention to it, and getting interested 20 months later while sitting on fiat in my bank account afraid to put them in any conventional investments as all of their good results seems to stem for FED's money printing

If you're cashing out then yes it was the worst decision ever really. But if you don't need that cash and you can wait for maybe a few weeks or a couple of months for it to go back up again.

Yep...Didn't cash out. In the meanwhile did some trading and gained more BTC than I bought in the first place. Don't need the money so will hold for the long term.

It's not the worst decision by a long shot, but my gut was telling me to sell a big portion of my holding a short while back when Coinbase was holding up at like $40-$50 higher than the rest of the exchanges (it was like $740 at the time I believe).   I wanted to sell a bunch and re-buy later, but just decided to keep all that I have for the long haul, and have been doing so for quite some time...

 Embarrassed

No, I will not disclose my real name on the Internet. The very simple reason I’m anonymous is so that I can talk freely about a free web. One mistake people often make is having the faulty assumption that knowing my real name or my association with a respected person, group or organization might get them to trust me more. In fact, I have no authority here. Elastic Project is a loosely associated group of developers which constantly changes over time. If you prefer projects with a more centralized structure, then please move on. Specifically, I kindly ask you to refrain from any messages that try to convince me of the contrary. My time is too valuable to be wasted with the same discussion again and again.

Leaving 425LTC on BTC-e "MY OWN FAULT" and they got snatched. It was a while back worth about 4.50 per coin at the time. Almost trivial compared to the MTGox debacle and countless hacking's on other sites. I only keep small amounts on a few exchanges now.

I never thought my life could be. Anything but catastrophe. But suddenly I begin to see. A "BIT" of good luck for me. Cause I've got a golden ticket!

Assuming paraphrase ment nothing... typing in a bunch of garbage and copying that bunch of garbabe to the next line...  Luckly I only had 1 LTC on that wallet.

Anyone feel like trying to hack it? I am tempted to just put it online and say go for it, I'll never crack it.. if it even can be.

selling them at $10 a piece. Embarrassed

At the time it was easy to think BTC would go back down, or...
Do you mean the first time at $10 in June 2011?

Not setting up a mining rig in 2011, 2012 or 2013 when I had unlimited free electricity in my old office. Embarrassed

Edit: I just realized I can setup a desktop with free electricity at different location and it is covered under my rent.  What should I mine?
