Hi guys, i'm really keen to help get BitCoal back up and running, i read about there being a telegram group...thats a load of rubbish. I have had experience working on some Discord channels so i have taken the liberty to create a channel. I want to grow the community and the interest, i think there is ALOT of potential with this coin, especially as 2018 is the year of the privacy coin!

Discord group here: https://discord.gg/UdtS38E

Are we able to add this to the top of the page?

Anyone else who is looking to help restart this, please join the discord channel and message me. I want to help create a team, im also keen to work on the site so that it looks...a little better than it is.

Thank you.

AJGB.

We need to raise up and get this coin out there to the masses! Once this thing gets on a new exchange, its price should soar!

FIX IT

You need to delete your blockchain files in "C:\Users\yourpcname\AppData\Roaming\bitcoal" and sync from scratch. Delete these files:

blockindexes.bin
blocks.bin
and whole DB folder

Verify that you have a ".wallet" file in this folder. DO NOT delete this...that is your wallet just make sure you keep that, maybe back it up right now into another folder. Now that the blockchain is deleted re-open the BCN wallet and it should sync.

Is this coin dead?

Nope its just getting started! It was abandoned and is being brought back to life currently. Join the telegram or discord for more info. The links to both are in the thread.

Nope its just getting started! It was abandoned and is being brought back to life currently. Join the telegram or discord for more info. The links to both are in the thread.

what is the difference between BitCoal vs Intensecoin and BitCoal vs Sumokoin?

Some of the main differences:

Max Supply   Current Supply     ~Price        ~Market Cap            ~Net Hashrate
Bitcoal:  12,500,000      ~5,000,000           ~0,25       $1.157.175 USD            ~500KH/s
Intense: 999,481,516    ~330,000,000       ~0,05       $17.624.207 USD          ~8MH/s
Sumo:    88,888,888     ~3,000,000           ~8,50       $23.716.925 USD          ~20MH/s

So compared to the other two coins, mining is very, very easy. And Bitcoal is still highly undervalued considering the low supply(due to the fact, that the coin was abandoned).Growth potential is therefore huge, 5-10x within 2-3 months should be possible if (and only if) there is some developement around this coin. And that is the downside of Bitcoal because other than Sumo and Intense, who have active developers and an active community,Bitcoal is just starting again. So miticoin, you can do your part to make this coin a success Smiley

So where is the community chat right now?
Discord or telegram?
Can anyone update OP with the new info and give the links to the groups.
Just found out about this coin and it seems nice.

As far as i understand, the coin was doing well but the original developer left and now its up to the community? Is that correct? Smiley

I did read trough the thread, but would be great if some one who was here from early can share his thoughts.

The prices of many coins have been falling back in the near future, and BitCoal, too, unless something is going on. The time for good investment has passed, and we need to wait.

Are there any bounties? If so, I'd be willing to redesign the website if that's something the community wants.
