If you have been reading the previous posts and paid attention to the changes that have been made to this thread - you would have realised that there is an active Telegram group and an active Discord group with a newly created Reddit group. The changes have been widely publicised.

https://twitter.com/BitCoal - set up in November 2017? Who has access to this account? and the Instagram account? Please can you DM me urgently either on here or telegram/discord?

Thank you.

Hey everyone
Just picked up a bit of this coin
I am finding it impossible to compile this wallet on Ubuntu 17.10 (Artful Aardvark).
Seems to be very focused on windows , which is great for mainstream adoption
however I have scoured the net for solutions to this problem, with all the package dependencies installed and more, just to be sure, but make just wont compile this wallet for me.

Anyone know a solution or approached this problem.

Looks to be an issue with the pthread

Help will be much appreciated

Hi guys,

The development team have managed to get an official pool up so if you are a miner, please switch over to the official pool:

Mining Pool Address: 45.33.112.31
- Port: 3333 Starting, Difficulty: 100, Description: Low end hardware
- Port: 5555, Starting Difficulty: 2000, Description: Mid range hardware
- Port: 7777, Starting Difficulty: 10000, Description: High end hardware

The mining pool fee is 0.5% and we have found quite a few blocks.

ALL of the mining pool fees are going to the DEV wallet, so we can further support/attract new devs.

Would be great to have you on board! Smiley

what happened to the so called plans? any news or developments from dev's? have they taken steps to implement open source improvements from the code-worthy sister projects sumokoin and xmr? I am sure this could easily go up quite a bit with some simple motivation.

Is it normal to take 12+ hours for coal to arrive to Cryptopia? The transactions are marked confirmed in my wallet, but have yet to receive them. I sent it in 8 or so 50 COAL increments using the default fee.

Edit: finally came through a little over 16 hours after the transaction. Perhaps my transaction fee was too low.
