Hi, a bit confused here after reading this thread.

This coin was taken over. New website was made. https://bitcoal.io/. I got the wallet from there and am on version 1 i think.

But there was a fork and i read something about not mining from democrats. Ive been mining here http://coal.mypool.online/#

Am i on the right fork? Dont want to mine coins that are not recognized so i thought id better ask before i mine any more coins that are worthless.

whats the need for 99% of coins ?  its great for miners currently most profitable mining cryptonote coin according to https://www.cryptunit.com/?order=price

So does that answer your question?  its a profitable mineable coin!
that currently has a new dev team so hang in there and wait for more development it also has a LOW supply.

I am partially new in this coin community. Would this coin connect the reward to the real coal price and change every day?

Like https://tradingeconomics.com/commodity/coal, the price now is around 99.4 and if the mining reward is 1/10, ie 9.94 COAL, then there is much a brighter future as it is O2O.

It is my two penny to increase the usefulness of this coin.

Why does BitCoal keep going down in satoshi value?  It was once up to 3000 satoshis and now it is only 370.  Everybody who is mining this coin needs to stop du mping it and instead they should hodl it.  Then everyone else should take their Bitcoins over to Cryptopia and pu mp BitCoal to the Muun.   This is what needs to happen and anyone who doesn't follow along with this plan is screwing up badly.

As Bitcoin is a member of the family of Cryptonight, it is also seriously affected by the latest ASIC machines. For details, all can check the following link:

http://cryptomining-blog.com/9538-baikal-giant-n-the-first-cryptonight-asic-miner/
http://cryptomining-blog.com/9546-cryptonight-asic-miner-from-bitmain-as-well-the-antminer-x3/
http://cryptomining-blog.com/9552-pinidea-rr-200-cryptonight-asic-miner-coming-next/

However, for the general practice, we have to choose either following the practice of other members like Monero to create a hard fork to switch a little bit or allowing the ASIC to decimate all our miners at all.

Do we have a consensus now?
