We have fixed the price swing problem with Bitcoins.

When you create a project, it saves the btc rate and then uses it to adjust the amount if the checkbox is set and btc rate changes.
e.g. if you project's target amount is 100 btc and project's btc_rate is 260 and checkbox is set... then according to the current rate the adjusted target should be around 236 btc

does the "forgot password" button work?

I get: "We're sorry, but something went wrong."

Ok.. so where do I start ? ..

Why are you making this to promote scams ? This forum has enough space for that.

Let me take some quick examples:

https://bitcoinstarter.com/projects/131 - 1 BTC to do nothing that is not already done, plus zero description on how it will be done.

https://bitcoinstarter.com/projects/125 - 20 BTC to create an altcoin, where the project starter has no idea on how to do it.

https://bitcoinstarter.com/projects/126 - 25 BTC where the guy says he is a recognized python developer. If you are not in this list http://hg.python.org/committers.txt, and the guy isn't, then no, you are not recognized.

https://bitcoinstarter.com/projects/127 - 1.9 BTC for generating money, without any clue whatsoever about how it will work.

People don't have to pledge. We aren't going to be able to catch everything that is posted.

We've add the ability for people to pledge to projects anonymously now. So no need to sign up an account on BitcoinStarter you can pledge right then and there!

More features on the way stay tune!  Grin

I want to post here Smiley

I have a project on bitcoinstarter that I need to get funded to make it a success: https://bitcoinstarter.com/projects/439. As of now I received 0.0, but aside from that I'm very positive about Bitcoinstarter. The guy(s?) behind it is really friendly and helpful, we had a lot of contact on Twitter. It's also nice that there aren't any stupid requirements like living in the US (kickstarter) or having a Paypal business account (IndieGogo).

Now just lets hope bitcoinstarter can attract some more investors, the site badly needs it.

You can PM me the project ID and I can get you their email. Or, if you have disqus account you can just leave a message on their project page.
