I woke up this morning a little annoyed I sold 150,000 potcoin yesterday at 2,500 SATs. It is now 5,000 SATs. Why is the price going up? The only dev I can see is they are selling potcoin directly on their website? The community sucks ..

Its the shitcoin pump of the day
DEVS and WHALES had performed a pump using self trading bots to inflate volume and sell on bagolders at higher prices
No news to back up such rise, only the pump group using different sockpuppet accounts started shilling on the trollbox
Since there is a big BTC move ahead to 5000 CNY, whales just got like 1000 BTC or more due to this pump

Potcoin used to be a good idea and coin back in maybe 2014. But if I remember correctly, it has absolutely no technical differences to Bitcoin, the only difference being you are meant to use to buy .... Well you know 😀.
It has a dead community so no doubt this is a P and D.

Do people really expect coins like 'Potcoin' and 'Hollyweed' to be the next big thing? I mean if you want to be taken seriously, I would think you would pick a better name. It's obvious that these coins won't last.
Unless a crypto has some kind of actual use, I would assume it is just pump and dump.

Potcoin to me seems to be another Pump and dump coin, this pot tokens are increasing in number and I don't know which one of them will succeed going forward, Tokes just finish their ICOs and the team seem to be solid but not sure about their marketing capability, the main thing is to get people to use your product something that is lacking in most of this project, no one is using it

Price has been in a slow, steady decline since the start of 2017.
Not sure if there will be renewed interest, or if it was just some hype to pump and dump.
I'll watch the coin since I made a few dollars when price went up at the end of last year.

bullshit. the only thing that holds an alt's value is a planned pump. if there isn't one on the horizon then it's oblivion time. do you honestly think the people who bought into its pump were carefully checking the credentials of the development team? gimme a break. |

I would agree - one of the only alts what is used already in that market what it is used for. In fact there is a huge 420 community and when they get now reward "potcoins" then it is going into another scale. There is definately a usecase here and a way larger audience than in whole crypto-space combined. The Dev team is one of the better ones of all and like already said are decades in front of others.
