Then you have to try and fill out some migration form that does not accept your old user and pass.

Contact ripple.... no reply.

When did they remove the login part from their website?

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I guess a few years back by now, they were ordered by fincen to no longer offer wallets or help anyone implementing them.

I think xrpchat has a good overview of wallet providers that you can use instead of the official one.

https://www.coinlend.org <-- automated lending at various exchanges.
https://www.bitfinex.com <-- Trade BTC for other currencies and vice versa.

Indeed. You had to migrate to a third party wallet ages ago and several emails were sent by Ripple urging people to migrate with dire consequences if they didn't.

Only chance you have is if you have your private key for Ripple Trade.

So unless you have your private key then all the ripples are lost? this is quite terrible.

could they track my ripple account by my transactions from bitstamp sending ripple to my ripple account?

I'm sure i put several hundred dollars worth there a few years back.

This is exactly how it works in most (all?) cryptocurrencies. No private key, no money.

https://id.ripple.com/auth/migrate

I don't know if it still supported and if it is, you might need to follow kyc procedure I guess.

Indeed - but many of us have been there and feel your pain.  Wink
Usually it is the result of missed time-limited migrations to another blockchain but I think an earlier poster was right in saying that Ripple had to divest themselves of individual end users.

Please let us know if you get any joy - it could help others in the same situation.

I suppose there should be someone you can contact on that site to guide you through the steps. They should be aware they still have some customer funds with them.

Hi there,

Yes I did try this but says incorrect info? I know it is correct since i wrote it down and never altered it.
Somone said that form is not working now.

Strange ripple does not even reply to emails asking what i can do.

They should be able to trace my account by my user and pass and also the transactions deposits from bitstamp.  Did they really delete all their users details?

I remember I added a fair chunk when one of the main guys left to start stellar and it fell pretty low.

Doesn't seem years ago that I did this. Time flys by.
