Hmm. I would also go for clothing and accessories. It's got more potential as well as

a larger target market, unlike cigarettes,comic books, and seeds. As for food, I guess it can work too but

depending on the kind,you'll likely be restricted/limited by locality. So, best option would definitely be clothing

and accessories. Something like gamiss.com could work.
(I've kinda been on the look out for good clothing shops that accepts bitcoin,haven't found a good one yet.) 

Anyway, you always have to keep in mind and focus on who/what/where your target customers are.

Food clothes and accessories are good but you should include also the computers/laptops and computers parts as well, because those who own bitcoin means that that own electronics and would be good to buy them with bitcoin.

Digital goods sell about 100x better than anything physical. That would have to be my biggest piece of advice. A lot of people are into bitcoins to be less transparent with their money so if you ask about their address to send them a pack of smokes they'll probably just not bother.

IMHO you overlooked the best selling items
they would be:
1.digital goods or services i.e. scripts,hostings,VPN,proxies,website access etc.
2.hardware,both mining related and PC parts and accessories  such as videocards,risers, power supply units and many more

as correctly pointed out above,bitcoin users value their anonymity,you will have to find a way to deal with that disclosure phobia when selling physical goods
either offer some unique product that cannot be bought for fiat money or give incentitive to buy it for bitcoins exclusively(huge discount,free P@P and so on)

Well there are a lot of items you can sell online at its best for their demand and besides you can also some services that you can greatly earn for offering it for a lot of people need freelancers for their projects. And for the items, that would be good if you are going to relate it with technology as we are in bitcoin industry and I saw a good business of selling physical coin (for souvenir).

Just interesting with this way because is more a simple step comparing with the another like selling a physical stuff needs for shipping into the address of the buyer and will need for a charge more for that. it's why a lot of the digital goods seller are always appear every time.

That's interesting that comic books made the list.  I'm not sure if I should be surprised by that or not, because I used to frequent a comic book chat board and never once saw bitcoin mentioned.  And on the other hand, comic book nerds would seem to be the most likely ones to use bitcoin.

I think think the ''5. Clothing & Accessories'' make more success actually. People are looking for this kind of stuff on the internet and they want to pay easily, and BTC is the currency to pay fast and easily. It would make a big success.

I also like that idea. many people probably like the accessories and clothes of bitcoin, so they can tell people around about bitcoin silently.

actually I also like the idea of books, but openbaazar only offer comics. I think it will be more interesting if they add some science books or dictionaries.

don't really like the situations when you order snickers saying size 10 only to realise that the shipment was made from a country where sizes are +1 (UK as example)
it is just too much of a hassle with sizes,packaging and postage,delivery and possible return

For me that's never worth in this time, just imagine about the tax for buying a clothes from the foreign and shipping into the my country and how many amount are is pend for that. I'm not naive but for this time the clothes and the accessories are the worst thing in this time for be a one of your selling item in your business and the demand are very low comparing with the another kind.

I think the most things that are sold of bitcoins are digital things like games, I really think that is mostly sold with the bitcoin.
It is even sold on dark marketplaces these days so that is pretty sick.

I cannot agree more, the digital goods are mostly sold in the bitcoin world and its indeed pretty simple because the bitcoin is also a digital currency.

Agree with this  , digital goods are   most commonly sold here  on  online world and  with the use  of bitcoin but  still bitcoin could be use in any transactions as  long theres a connection on monetary value and thats the  beauty  of bitcoin.  For me  i would choose  in the  option is clothes and accesories  for sure.. You should include smartphones because its  high on demand.

I agree these digital goods are selling like hot breads, they are easy to sell and I know that they get sold a lot these days...

I do not use OpenBazaar  so basically i do not know what happen there. According to my experience, The best selling item online is digital goods which include games, game accounts, domain, etc. As you can see, there are many online games store which accept bitcoin to pay for game keys. And when you go to Digital goods section in this forum, you can find many people are selling their online stuff and there are many others people who willing to buy these things
