There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Does ARK have a chance to go to the POLO exchange? Now only in bittrex transactions?
personally i think it has a good chance. top-30 market cap, is higher than many of the ones POLO is delisting. but there is no guarantee, and they give no warning before they list the coins. however one thing to note is that it benefits holders to keep ARK in their wallet, to stake, and not on the exchange. Exchanges don't like that. But then again there are others (i.e. LISK) which they have on polo. So then why on Bittrex there are sell offers for more than 1000 BTC? And they just stay there, nobody will buy because some of them are ridiculous! For instance: 0.00099999 50505.00000000 50.5045 837.8564 0.00500000 16237.64368774 81.1882 1156.1720 100k, 500k satoshi... I don't think ARK will ever reach 500k. Why these guys don't vote and make some extra ARK every day? They can always sell if the price goes up. Maybe they don't know about the voting thing... There are always sell orders like that placed on most coins. People (and whales) hope some fat fingered user will put in a super high buy order by mistake and the seller will reap a windfall profit. Simply ignore them and be careful with you math!

The ARK Crew has just released version 1.2.0 of their Desktop Wallet with several new features and bug fixes. The main focus of this update was improving the overall system for handling the broadcasting of transactions over the Ark network and a lot better peer management. This will fix the zero confirmation issue that some of you may have experienced in the past.
Blog post with instructions: https://blog.ark.io/ark-desktop-wallet-now-handles-better-transaction-broadcasting-a86633bf4144
Thank you all for your support! don't forget to upgrade your desktop wallet to 1.2.0

Hey dear ark friends!
Couple questions:
Can somebody tell me how ark's PBFT system will be better than the tendermint BFT or boscoin mFBA?
Is there a date where the IPFS integration is expected?
Cheers
@ARK-team keep up the amazing work!

Well first off, the ARK blockchain is already running so as a comparison you should ask if tendermint or boscoin BFT system will be better than ark. Theoretical speeds they "hope" to get are still paper values only. Ask again when these guys have a blockchain we can compare to ours which is already working. I can totally say ark will have 10000 transactions per second in the future, doesn't mean it will ever be that fast but out of all those projects, ARK is the only one that can say that our PBFT system is working very well already.

I have couple of questions too. 1. Where are the undistributed funds held? (the one which is set aside for second ico) 2. How are the 30 ark finding members paid? Are they all paid equally? I only see 5 or 6 names in the github. So what work they do to become the founders of ARK?

We have split it depending on how much work was done before and during the TEC. The requirement was simple, you must have been part of our group of 100 people. around 27 became ARK and the 15% was split between as many people.

It is possible to see it touching bottom at above 10k satoshi before next spike. Where ARK token was traded it should be at 20k satoshi range without any trouble. The last shake to through the remaining weak hands is started in this recent trend. This is long term winning bet so stay tuned let some locked for good future.

But the old one works besides that sometimes issue.

Great, I thought ARK was more transparent in its distribution and this info was already posted here. When you advertise about the "30 member" ark team, I was curious to know what these people are doing for the project and how much was they worth it. Moving on... Could you answer the below as well pls. Whats this fancy words 'Encoded Listeners' mean? we don't either. we have two ways to connect. one being a direct communication path and the other being an intermediary node we call the Encoded Listeners
Why are there two ways to connect? Whats the advantage of one over the other? Could you explain a bit more on Encoded Listeners? I would like to know how they are supposed to work.

It says >> The Encoded listener node is a hub for listening to SmartBridge transactions. And as I understand, for smart bridge transactions to happen, you need to inject the code into the other block chain. So how does it work without the code injection as you said earlier? To me its just a way of collecting fees for the transactions across two compatible block chains. Do we have any devs who knows what they are talking about here?

You ask questions in a way to pretend that you know anything at all but in reality, you know shit. Seen too many of you crash and burn.
