POS rate: 19,71% per day till 1 Nov 2017.

OmG you got to be kidding me...

My understanding is that it is a broken coin where developers disappeared. It has since been revived and picked up by a new development team that has created a roadmap to fix it and regrow it.

So there is a lot of anticipation around this coin because one can get in now, potentially get huge staking rewards on the broken system, and see what comes of new potential features and fixing of the coin.

With new wallet release round the corner and lot of other exciting things that's taking place I think EMB will touch the skies. Yes the old dev abandoned the project but then the community picked it up and I must say that they are one of the best community one can come across.

If you want some good staking rewards(720% pa), delay no further and do yourself a favour by getting some EMB coins.

I only have around 17 nodes im connected to. Does this effect me beating people to the stake block reward? If i add more nodes now will that start my stake over again?

I noticed it's one of the only coins going up today, compared to everything else!! Price hasn't really changed much in the last couple of weeks and people have been getting 20% growth per day on average (or more compounded but you need millions of coins to actually get the reward every day or you might need to wait a week to get 140% more etc).

We have a big group talking about pos coins.
Ember is one of the best is 7200% year make 19.7% about day.

Actually for take a stake in 24h you need like 20mil or more cause of the big weight of the net because many people are staking ember.
There is a excel sheet with an approximate calculation of the time you will get a stake because the wallet lie it's bug.
Also 15 September will be available the new wallet and you have to change into new within 31 October.
So i started with 6.8 mil emb and hope to get a stake in 15 days.
For every day you aren't staking you will get the same 19.7%
After 31 October i heard masternode will be implemented.

There is a discord group where you will learn very much about it and a pos monkey my friend siteweb which will suggest you the best coin available for pos

It's a broken coin being fixed. If you went from 20% a day to .1% a day, you risk destroying the community. Important to do stages of step down. Plan seems to be to move to a new wallet, then burn everything not moved after November 1st (someone confirm this date for me). THEN one can see what is left and figure out appropriate numbers.

There is a new wallet out tomorrow which should eliminate all problems with delays with rewards and rewards forecasting and such. The new developers are working hard I see on this....

I also can verify (I too had my doubts), that the trading volumes are up on all 3 exchanges where you can trade this coin. The community on discord is growing, and in all honesty, if you don't stake what you can't afford to loose, this has great potential seeing as it's only around 9 satoshi's right now. If it climbs after the forthcoming milestones on the roadmap....huge potential for huge gains. Just my opinion....I'm in (not for more than i can afford to lose however.....)

There is no looking back with $EMB. Many do not understand how POS works and then the coin is blamed. The team behind this coin is amazing and there is no second thought about this. With the new wallet release scheduled for 15th, I am sure lot of people are looking forward to much more staking rewards.

I'd like to join the club. One question though. Seeing some guys posting that staking makes no sense if I don't have millions and millions of EMB coins. So in order to get any % from POS, what is the minimum?

If I get a very small amount of coins (let's say 100K) and put them on the official wallet for a month or two, I will get 0 coins? Or I will get some coins, just not a whole lot?

The reward goes down on Nov 1st, and you probably won't get reasonable rewards anyway with just a few coins. 20% daily rewards just can't work out in the end. Go look for another coin for staking which isn't that out of reach. Check out B3 or KAT maybe, didn't research those yet as I'm busy trading the crash.

ELI5: Staking. I read that it is 20% per day but then people talk about having 2.5M EMB for weeks without getting a reward. 2.5M EMB seems like enough to deserve something.

Right now B3 is staking for 10000% and it will be like that for the next 12~15 days or so then it rate will go down. KAT statkes at 50% and then will drop down to 20%. B3 has an active Devs and KAT was a re-launch/take over.
